Yeah, I dig the monsters more than the robots. I've never been into anything robots really, but as a child I've always wanted to be a Paleontologist lol, obviously that didn't happen. But I love giant creatures.
I don't know why but it's harder for me to like robot characters than monsters. Terminator is one of the few rare exceptions.

Oh guys! My choices are learning MMA, Wushu, Karate, Judo and Taekwondo. I think i'll go MMA.
Learn something that'll teach you about leverage. A Karata kick isn't gonna do you a lot of good in a life and death situation if your attacker has you on the ground. And most real life fights with no rules result in you or both you and the attacker on the ground.

Well, robots can't feel, they're so...one-dimensional, and I know monsters can be mindless, but they can show emotion more so and it si more believable when they do. I think it comes down to, for me, that they're living beings (in the story lol) whereas robots can be replaced so where's the peril? Now, things like Pacific Rim or Gundam, I can get that a little more because even though it's robots, it's humans using them, and it feels more like a pilot with his plane rather than just a "free-thinking" robot.

With all that said, I love I-Robot and I am excited to see Almost Human this Fall. lol

Yeah that seems to be two requirements, they need to either be cool or have a personality or both. Gundam they are cool but no real personality. I-Robot they have personality, to the point of having a "soul" but lack in being cool. Terminator hits the nail on the head, they are both cool and have personality. The personality is subtle, but it's there.

The Jaegers in Pacific Rim while cool were just vhicals, no personality of their own at least not until they a human stepped in them and even then they were just emulating the dominate pilots mannerisms. Really they were just a means of getting human characters to be able to interact with the monsters cause normally they are too big and us too small to interact with each other properly.

It is a Hell of a crazy image though to see a 3 armed machine take a martial artist stance and have it's blade fingers spin.

Can anyone identify what martial art that is?

Also you had the original Mechagodzilla in the 70's who ironically was not subtle in his personality at all, he seemed to be taunting Godzilla with his weird poses before firing his finger missiles.

70s Mechagodzilla is the ultimate troll. Especially with that smug grin on it's face.

Damn right. Maybe it's a good A.I or maybe they programed it into him but at the end of the day despite being a machine that dude was sadistic and seemed to take some glee in turning his fleshy counterpart's neck into a blood sprinkler with the eye lasers.

Also I never played League of Legends and after seeing this video I don't plan to.

So I take it Dunkey is saying she's really overpowered?
