Right now I feel like that one guy at the party that nobody knows but acts like he's everyone's friend. I feel like a jackass...
Anyways... Hello! I've loved MK ever since one of my friends beat me with Sub-Zero and sat there, giggling his ass off while he froze me a couple thousand times... only to whip out a Sub-Zero doll.
I've also really admired the UMK3 tournament scene ever since a friend sent me a UMK3 tournament video through FTP those many years ago... (Quicktime and Dial-Up used to be so cool...) And although I've been a fan of the scene, I'm sort of like a football fan -- I know the terminology, I understand how the game is supposed to be played, but put me on the field and I'll get destroyed.
But I'm hoping to change that, peel away these layers of scrub that have built up on me over the years and really get to know the games I've enjoyed on a casual level for so long.
And if I've said anything to you that may have been construed as an insult in the "Pro/Anti-Freddy Krueger" threads the past couple days, I want you to know that A) Insulting you want not my intention B) I don't think you're stupid for having an opinion C) You're probably an awesome person in real life and D) You are all my children now.
