I know that this is really late notice, but I thought that I would make a thread for a tournament that I'm going to in Cincinnati, OH this weekend. For the remainder of this post, these are the TO's words and not my own:

It is time for Cincinnati to host a regional tournament again. We have a nice venue, a stream, and the playerbase to execute the event. With that said...

Arcade Legacy Presents: Alpha Attack - October 12th-13th, in Cincinnati, OH.

Arcade Legacy is conveniently located within the Cincinnati Mall (formerly Forest Fair Mall), adjacent to the food court and a few doors down from the Danbarry Cinemas. Use Entrance 3 (off Kolb Dr., look for “Mall Parking Garage” signs) and keep left as you enter, you can’t miss us.

662 Cincinnati Mills Dr.

The venue fee for the event is $20 if you pre-register, and $30 if you need to register at the door.

You can pre-register at http://arcadelegacyohio.com/shop/

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ADD THE VENUE FEE AS WELL AS ANY GAMES YOU ARE PLAYING!

Hotel Information:

The Closest Hotel in the area is the Hampton, which is right next to our mall. http://hamptoninn3.hilton.com/en/hotels/ohio/hampton-inn-cincinnati-northwest-fairfield-CVGFDHX/index.html

Nearby is http://www.comfortsuites.com/hotel-cincinnati-ohio-OH483. This is across from the mall, and is within "walking distance" but it's quite a trek.

Please come out and support our arcade/scene!

Also, per the Facebook post for this event (which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/events/138362549704646/ ):

"I've extended the online registration to Wednesday. Thursday will be the last day for registering at the arcade in person. If you don't have Paypal, just call up the arcade during business hours and we can do it over the phone with a credit card. If you don't have a credit card and absolutely have to pay by cash, still call me at the arcade and I will pre-reg you and you can pay at the door. 513-874-8766."

Another update:

"IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!

This event will now just be a SATURDAY ONLY event. It seemed like that was the general consensus for people travelling and even locally for what they would prefer. As such, I am lowering the venue fee and ADDING A POT BONUS structure. This will put more money into the pockets of the players and I'm sure you will all be ok with that The pre-reg venue fee is now $15 and at the door will be $20 with $5 of that going to a pot bonus to one of the games you are entering. If you pre-regged already, I will be going in and refunding every person $5. Look for it in your Paypal account tonight. If you paid in person, I will give you the cash next time I see you.

You do get to choose what game your pot bonus money goes to. I will try an email everyone to find out what game they want it in. You can also just send me a message here to let me know once you have paid (or if you have already).

If anyone will be in town Sunday and wants to come back to the arcade to play, your venue fee will still cover that!

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!:

Get over here!
Yea is anyone going to this? I was going to make the drive but if the turn out is low I can stay home lol
PL, lol at your avatar, that literally made me laugh out loud, especially after watching you play Scorp on the CoCo stream last night.

Good stuff!

I know that the local Arcade Legacy guys, naturally, will be there (they do have a few Injustice players in their group, but I don't believe that any of them are on TYM), and myself along with a few other SOT members (one of which also plays Injustice).

But outside of that, I have no idea. I talked to Ribbz on Facebook, earlier, but he says that he has other plans.

I saw Zack's update where he says that "Injustice sign-up's are low", but I'm still going anyway. I've been pre-registered for about a month and I live less than two hours away from the venue anyway. Plus, I need practice to help get ready for my monthly local here, which is a week from tomorrow.

Winning any tourney with a pot bonus is worth it, no matter how low the sign ups.

Me and Fromundaman are on TYM, but we may be the only two from the scene last night who are active on here. Good matches, Ryu!

Oh hey, a thread did get made for this.

We really didn't advertise this well enough and turnout was lower than I'd hoped, but I'm hoping there'll be more next time.

That said, it was really fun.

Sad I didn't get to play against you Semi Evil Ryu. Hopefully next time. I need to attempt to avenge myself for the last time you came to OH.

Godlike Saturdays might be tough (Trying to potentially save for youmacon), but I'll try to make it to Naptown Clutch for sure.
