Last year we had a few hockey heads talking all season in some random thread so I figured I'd make one so we can talk again. Thank God we have a full season this time around.

If the Hawks lose tomorrow, it will be a cold, cold feeling for me.

I'll just have to warm myself by burning Blues jerseys in my replica Stanley cup from last year. Or I could use the one from 2010. You know....whn you've won 2 in the last 4 years....you have options.

The full season is awesome. The more pucks the better, but I've gotta be honest...the intense pace of all those games smashed into a small window was pretty awesome to watch.

I am a big Avalanche fan and it is sweet seeing Patrick Roy on the bench already getting fined for freaking out on another coach. Nice 2-0 start and Nate MacKinnon looks like the real deal. They brought back Tanguay too which brings back that warm glory days feeling.

Don't be sorry. I dislike this coach, he's not good for a young team like the sabres are now. This might end up being the worse sabres season in their history.

Sure... The Bruins are cup contenders every season while we wonder if the Habs are even going to make the playoffs. We don't go to war with a team of smurfs and seriously expect to win the cup.

I only follow the Habs, cause they're my home team, but I never liked their players and the way they play, you don't win on speed and goaltending alone, you need big players to create pressure during the forechecking and ones capable of clearing the crease for the goalie. Not to mention soft ass defensemen like Diaz and Bouillon always give the opponents easy access into their blue line, they can easily carry the puck in without having to dump it.

I like the Kings, they're bad, big and skilled. Just lacking speed.

I think that is the evolution that hockey is taking.
If you can not out puck handle a team, or out skate them, beat them into the ice.

Thats why teams like boston and philly do well. They are bruisers.
