Just watched KDZ playing superman, and noticed the changes of f2+3 right off the bat lol.

I beat a slightly lower ranked player in a mirror and then was counterpicked Superman and soundly won when he tried to win off of zoning Zod and maybe on cross+wake up dive punch but lost because of trying to out-zone Zod.

Zod v. Superman is 7-3 Zods favour, so saith the srcubs.

This was like the funniest thing ever to me.

First Rico said he was gonna quit because of the nerfs, but then he shows up to play at the break anyway (saying he hadn't even tested the "nerfed" BA btw), then he proceeds body EVERYONE with the new "Scorpion" of the game. LOL!

I have to say I was getting tired of seeing the same old run away game from BA players, but it seemed like Rico had to stay in peoples faces MUCH more now after the patch, and the same goes for KDZ's SM as well. Though both guys played in the "classic" Injustice match in the finals, it was still kinda cool to watch; and fun to see all the other matches as well.

To be fair the patch is really new, people have not figured out all the new tech. You will probably have to wait till the next major to see the massive influx of new tech, and combos.

Also by that time the instinctual feeling of not being able to do anything against the top tier characters will wear out as the nerfed toolsets will allow other characters to strut their stuff. Hell we may see a Superman or BA in the grand finals of that tourny, but this time for the most part atleast it wont be because of brain dead strings or specials. Well until someone figures out some braindead tech in the future. Till then the future looks great.

My opinion is while yes it was superman vs black adam you could tell rico and kdz were working there ass off. Rico was struggling to run away with ease and kdz couldnt bully everyone into the corner 5 seconds into the match. Arma you could tell was also stuggling with bat management. Those guys are great players they will always go far in tourneys. I know its only been a day but at a glance both black adam and superman looked fair.

Agreed. I loved the game pre-patch but im sure ill like this version more. looking forward to seeing how the game overall develops from here

So true. I didn't think that Arma (or any Batman really) would struggle though, but I guess I was wrong. I really can't wait to see the new highs that the game reaches now.
