Karaokelove's TYM Xbox Live Tournament Thread

Ok, I just made a spreadsheet showing scheduling incompatibilities and we've got a few issues. As stated, bpack and Havik have the most difficult-to-work-with schedules. However there are a few other kombatants who will simply never be able to have fights against certain other kombatants. This is a problem because the tournament will come to a halt if these kombatants end up paired together. If you are one of the following kombatants then you have a scheduling conflict with at least 1 other kombatant:

CptXecution; bpack; TheTrillz; Havik; Iron Soulsmasher; JHCRANE 14; TyrantRave; yungmoney4418; Kombo; and Fresh T

If any of you guys could open up your schedules by even an hour in most cases it would really help out. Also, the bottleneck is really with bpack and Havik. If you guys can do anything to open up your schedules that alone would fix most of the issues. If we can't work out these scheduling conflicts I'm not sure what we can do.

if it helps and you need more people in the tourney to even things out a little i have a couple people interested. def scrilla87 (thats his gt) is down but forgot to post last night i would have to see his online ability to play though but hes on every day. also have a few others that might join if you want a few more people to space the fights out better

Thanks CASPER087, but I think more people would only add to the difficulty of synching up everyone's schedules. I'd love to have them participate in the next tournament, though.

Is that still on Monday through Thursday? And is that in addition to the hours you had posted earlier or does this schedule completely replace the old one?

edit: only 2 people can only play on the weekends. I'll just put you guys way apart so hopefully you won't have to fight each other.

Yeah, that's understandable. This whole scheduling business is a pain in the ass. The schedule you see posted on the main page should definitely be accurate unless (god forbid...) someone changes their availability up on me. All I'm worried about is that once people start winning and losing matches I'm not going to have any control over who fights who and there are a few matchups that simply cannot happen. For instance TheTrillz can only play on weekends and yungmoney4418 can only play on weekdays, so if they end up having to fight the tournament will come to a halt. I'm trying to arrange the bracket in a way as to keep those kombatants away from each other but it's still a possibility.

Regardless, all you need to worry about is the schedule that's posted on the main page. Thanks.

I will have to see, might not be able to change my schedule, I work a standard 8-5 M-F. However, I did find how out how to do the compatability packs. They were in the xbox live marketplace, so I am good to go.

Alright guys, I've posted the official bracket in the main post. I've tried to space out kombatants with conflicting schedules, though you guys have been so good about freeing up time that it shouldn't be that big of an issue. As always, if you have any questions about the bracket please don't hesitate to ask. I do want to point out to Havik and Phantom that you guys were randomly chosen to be bumped up to round 2, so you will no longer be fighting on Monday. That's just the way the bracket worked out. The same for Eight and Bookburning, though you guys hadn't been matched up yet anyways. Please make sure to review the tournament schedule closely in case there have been any changes you were not aware of. And thanks again to all you guys for making this possible! Good luck!

Well I just found out some awful news... My 360 won't be here until Monday. Hopefully it will arrive early enough for us to get in all of our matches but there is a chance that some of the early matches will either be moved to later that day or even Tuesday. Luckily we have a few gaps between 3:30 and 5:00, and 5:00 and 11:00 so I'm thinking we should be able to get in all of round 1 on Monday, but I'll keep you posted. As for Saturday and Sunday, I will be staying at my girlfriend's parents' place in Nashville and luckily her little brother is going to let me use his 360 to get in those matches. I'll have to download that damned online pass but it will be worth it to just get this first round out of the way. I swear, just when you think nothing else can go wrong something comes out of left field...
