Xbox 360 vs PS3 controller?

Anyone have a preference? It seems like the D-Pad layout on the PS3 would be better for this game. It could be me but I seem to have a lot of input errors on the 360 controller circle pad.

The more precise D-pad layout on the PS3 controller could help. I'm thinking about picking up a PS3 controller and converter. Any opinions?

I have a hori ex2 pad for my xbox, it has a great dpad and 6 face buttons. Id reccommend this controller but it seems they stopped making them and are now crazy expensive.

you could get a ps2 controller and a xtokki converter very reliable and lag free i switched to stick but if io do play on pad i believe the ps2 pad is the best available second to the sega saturn pad.
other things availiable are:
mad catz fightpads(alright for nrs games)
pdp versus fight pad (does really well for games with srk motions)
or if you are feeling a bit risky you could learn stick

So PS2 > PS3? Any particular reason?

the pad feels mor direct in my opinion and the r2 and l2 are actual buttons so they dont feel like they are disappearing when you press them

True, I forgot about the "triggers" on the PS3.

but in terms of games i feel stick(japanese games) and ps2(nrs and some 3d fighters) are the best options but if you do decide on stick i would go with a qanba q4 is made to play on xbox and ps3 out the box so you dont have to worry about console

No its a pad. Its called Hori ex2 turbo.
