Trying to find a local scene.

I live in panama city florida and im trying to find an injustice or MK scene. I know atlanta is like 5 hours away but I need more offline Exp. (purely an online warrior as of now) before I go there. Thanks guys.

Those guys Zoidberg747 tagged I believe are in South Florida. I'm in Tallahassee (the only guy in Tallahassee), and there were a few MK guys in Jacksonville who played MK but they don't play Injustice from what I can tell.

I'm down to play MK or Injustice, but yeah, traveling so just the 2 of us could play probably wouldn't be the most productive thing. Really, the only way I've found to get some quality play in North Florida is by having travel to mid and South Florida for CEO and other events like that. There are/were monthlys going on in the MK days, but not so much now.

Wow someone only like an hour from me. I agree with the traveling thing unless we can get something regular going. My local comic shop used to sponsor some Mk and super smash brothers but the last time I went they didnt have enough people. I wanted to get injustice started but my wife gave birth in may so my priorities changed. But now we are used to the whole parenting thing so my itch to have some local injustice tournys has returned. Im thinking of going to my local mall to invite people that play to start getting together so we can have a scene. Online is fun and all but its not as reliable as real matches. If I can get something going I can PM you to see what your thoughts are.

You are 10 hours away from us lol. Good luck finding guys to play up there though.

There's never any in Miami. Most regionals are in Orlando. If you have facebook look for the Community Effort Orlando page. It's ran by Alex Jebailey, he's the main TO around Florida.

Yeah anyone looking for practice, if you can swing it should move over to ATL. I think it is a fairly fun scene for injustice to join. Decent competition, good people, consistent practice.

You're closer to Atlanta than any other big scene so you might as well come up here one weekend.

I've made it to panama city in 3 hours before so it's not so bad. If you have the time and gas money it's worth it.

If you have the whole weekend free you could do a lot of leveling up. There's always somebody trying to get games in.

I did want to level up before I got to atlanta. I think im fairly decent online (2443-622 not bragging at all) but ive seen all you AK guys on stream and your all amazing. But anyways my wife and my daughter are going to new york for a wedding sometime in oct. so im thinking while they are gone going up to atlanta to get some games with you guys.

I am in Jacksonville and we have a very small group still playing IGAU that meets at my house about 3-4 times a month, a bit far for you.

The other area's of FL that I know play a lot are Orlando, Tampa, south FL near Miami, and prob a few other small scenes like mine. Most of the FL FGC communicates on facebook, not so much on here but some do check it out. They have a very large group on there for all of FL and many cities also have thier own group. I highly recommend you join. Most tournies in FL are posted on there and you may be surprised to find someone near you. Next one is in Tallahasse Oct 5th I believe, which is actually close for you.

Do you have a link for the facebook page by chance? Yea the tallahassee one is doable. I was going to ask about J-ville I thought they would have a decent scene. Thanks for the heads up man.

Yeah...Panama City is pretty far from us. We are pretty much South Florida, with SomeCubanGuy and the others near miami.
