Paulo said no such thing about Ares teleports,stop lying. And the inputs if they are ground teleports the 2 new ones will likely have awkward inputs.

In the Zatanna stream someone asked Paulo about Zatannas teleports and if she was the only one that could teleport in place, he responded by saying in the current version of the game, she is the only one that can do that.

So either someone in a future patch was going to get that ability(Ares or Raven), or someone could in a older build, and they removed it.

So now we find out Ares is getting two more teleports and can MB them, very similar to how Zatanna does her shit.

I could be wrong, but I really doubt it.

Its not about what he can do when he gets there its about his changes being the biggest upgrade to the character. Ares is an inherently better character than Lobo.

Not exactly, after the patch Lobo sounds like he could be a viable character. We'll just have to wait and see before drawing conclusions before the patch is out

Ares teleport is a lot slower and doesn't have all the invincibility frames Shazaam's does. Probe or Lance would work if Ares is doing that, because he always has a hitbox on the screen.

A teleport in place for Ares doesn't sound very useful, unless you can somehow dodge and punish some strings or attacks with the meter-burned version. Ares' invisibility already has the same startup animation and sound as his teleports that you can use to bait the opponent, so not sure what teleport in place would accomplish.

yeah if i could throw mines fullscreen. that would be awesome

it's hard to get my trait out against ares in the first place without a knockdown. if ares can teleport away and keep zoning it's going to be really hard to deal with.

My message about using the probe to react was a joke about the lex buffs. However I do like throwing out a probe as a combo breaker against a teleport combo, because it will hit him just after using his sword trait, wasting it.

It also gets you out of a MB Godsmack combo as well.
