MK9 wins every match because the block button removes cross-ups from the equation.

Even if Kabal was back-to-block he'd still dominate Superman IMO, on account of ridiculously fast instant air Gas Blasts and ex-Nomad Dash (edit: nvm ex-ND, forgot about Supes' dastardly Trait).

We saw what vanilla injustice scorpion did to the game. Im not familiar with MK to much but id imagine any character with cross up teleports would own face. With the lack of movement in injustice i would think the superior zoners of mk would own face to.

Flash > Cyrax (not being able to shoot bombs without getting punished and not having pushblock vs Flash means you are eating 15% chip and a 50/50 every 20 seconds due to time stop)

Zod > Reptile

Doomsday > Johnny cage (DD has pushblock and JC can't backdash)

Sonya > killer Frost

Kitana > Wonder Woman

Shang Tsung > Sinestro (shang can stop Sinestro from building trait anywhere on screen with minimal risk and high reward. Shang's D3 would likely go under Sinestro's B1. trades would be heavily in Shang's favor. Soul Steal)

Pre-patch Deathstroke > Pre Patch kano (if low shots were to go under knives)

My thoughts.

Kabal-Better zoning and rushdown
Kung Lao-Teleport and fast normals shut him down I think
Kenshi-Better zoner and footsies mean nothing to him
Freddy-Zones him out hard
Cyrax-It takes Flash one more touch to kill than Cyrax
Zod/Reptile-Not sure, could be even
Doomsday-Trait doesn't give any fucks about frame traps
Sonya/Killer Frost-Basically whoever hits first will pretty much win
Kitana-Just as good with footsies, and a better zoner
Shang Tsung-Better zoning tools, and can actually do stuff up close without worrying about getting punished. He can also make it a 5-5 mu for a couple of seconds
Pre-patch Deathstroke-Because he was actually worth his hype

IGAU is far more zoomed out.
