Gamestop employees being douchey, yeah nothing new here. Last time I had to go to Gamestop I had some self professed competeive player try to ensure I was wrong about DS' guns being easy to get around. Dude even argued his point until the manager said hey shut up and work. Shit was funny I walked ou and called him a scrub.

Both the employee and the customer were being unreasonable.

From what I've read, it started with the guy, because he wouldn't show ID to get the game, and Gamespot made it policy at launch to card EVERYONE regardless. The guy tried using his business card instead of his ID. He was just making an employee's life more difficult at a midnight launch when hundreds of people are waiting, just because of his small problem.

Then the employee. All employee's know that they sometimes have to enforce stupid rules that don't let them use their own judgement, and they need to understand that even if they are being forced to do so, it is going to frustrate customers. She just decided to keep it up and make it worse when the situation was all but resolved. Just wanted to have the last word- and it was unprofessional.

Don't argue with business policy. They want your ID you provide ID. No valid ID, no game. That's it, that's all.

Customer is a boob for thinking he can bend the rules, employee lost her cool and should get sorted out by her manager.

I just watched this on worldstar. Dude was super lame. I'm with the Gamestop manager. I would have made him feel lesser than dirt in that store lol. I'm one of the managers in this deli I work at.
