Though I don't think they should even be, I do like some of those characters.

Superman being the last of his kind was an interesting thing, and him finding another Kryptonian, a child(teenager? whatever), a relative, was also good. Him finding out that the only other adult Kryptonians alive are evil as shit was good as well.

All that other stuff, not so much.

Batman finding a boy who'd fallen victim to the same circumstances as him, who he saw himself in, and raising him to be a force of justice was awesome. Him allowing one of his closest friend's only daughter to be put in harms way for the sake of the greater good was cool. Him deciding to take another troubled youth under his wing and then failing him to the point of death, leaving a deep scar and eventually getting himself a new adversary in the future is cool.

All of that other stuff, not so much.


My opinion, I know most people don't agree with me though.

I take it terrifying is bad? And how is Jason Todd revolutionary?

He changed Batman's life, no so much by him being Robin but dying and coming back. I wrote in article on hubpages back when I still had an account about the Robins...I still wish I had that link. Damian, yeah, I don't like him so much, but, he's also a terrifying person...he is a product of the al Ghuls through and through. Although, I am interested in Damian: Son of Batman.

Damian Wayne would have been soooooo much better if he didn't become Robin.

If Damian was a villain/neutral for the most part, heavily under the influences of his family while also having rebellious streak and going back and forth in an emotional dilemma revolving around his father and Ghul clan, about what he thinks is right, I would have liked him. He should have never been a Robin.

I would honestly say that I agree with this...well put, sir.
