I don't get why either, DS guns are so much faster than supes' projectiles.

i was doing the daily challenge this morning. 3 games ina row people just left and i wasnt even doing that many lasers. i guess f23 is equivalent to guns. lol

Rude any tips on starting with Harley?

Learn her spacing. Part of winning with Harley is abusing the range on her Tantrum Stance/gun shots. Particularly the enhance cupcake bombs and high gunshots. Good Harleys I've seen like to irritate from afar from her gunshots/cupcakes and then punish advancing movement with properly space B2/tantrum stance.

This is not the only way she is played, of course. Just one of the things I've noticed.

Indeed. Use that. I don't remember all of her notations, but never neglect her overheads. And B22/MN F3 seems like a good mix-up.
