Stage 1: Do you have a council or people to help you come to conclusions based on varied data of the multitude of experiences you each bring to the table? If not, it would be a bad idea to call for balances for the whole cast based on one view point. If you feel as though you MUST pursue this endeavor alone. Please go ahead and do so, but at least watch how others in tournament and casual settings alike adapt to a MU throughout multiple fights.
Stage 2: Please note that every match is not played by people of equal skill level. Just because you see one or two people get bodied by something, doesn't mean that this is the ceiling for one character or that a character has a distinct disadvantage/advantage in a MU off an online experience. As we've seen, some people can dominate online, then get plastered in an official tournament setting. Just because one or even a few people you know have a problem with something (online) does not mean it will be the same off. Which is unfortunate (i know).
Stage 3: Are we confusing being able to do a character's high damage combos for playing a character at the highest possible level? I mean if you know combos and a character's strengths but have no MU knowledge, you're going to have a bad time. Which will only grow worse exponentially over time when you fall into the mindset of something being broken.
Stage 4: Does a flaw effect just one MU or a lot of MU's. If there is something a character you play has a tough time dealing with. That does not necessarily mean that this problem should be nerfed. For example, some people wanted Wonder Woman to be nerfed into the ground due to her immaculate corner game. However these nerfs to her moves wouldn't be corner specific, they'd affect her mid-screen too. Some people want big balances for Raven saying she doesn't need her frame traps and slight nerfs. Well lets say those "nerfs" fall through. That Doomsday MU becomes perhaps one of the most exploitable matches in the game at that point. The only thing that should ever be nerfed, is something that gives a gigantic sway in MUs against most of the cast.
Stage 5 [Most important]: Some people in their Buff and Nerf thread make their posts based on the current version. Without thinking about the changes they've already made.

[Buff to character A] = [Indirect Nerf to all other characters]
Just like
[Nerf to character A] = [Indirect Buff to all other characters]
So if you nerf one character, the buffs you give to another character MUST NOT correspond to the current version at this point. Your buffs and nerfs must correspond with what other buffs/nerfs you've already given characters. For example, if someone says nerf Green Lantern's Might range however increase the range of Raven's lift or buff the recovery of Hawk Girls mace charge. The combination of those nerfs and buffs means, Green Lantern's going to have a bad time.
Or TL;DR let's not make these types of threads anymore. Leave it in the MU discussion forums for characters you actually play. Then every few months discuss it and come to a mutual decision like a panel or something. This thread is now pointless in 3, 2, 1, . . .
