my injustice balance (flame suit on)

well since there are others posting threads like this, it made me want to jump in. (aside from the fact that i was bored for the last hour of course)whether you hate them or love them, these threads are always fun to read... or flame. ;) post if you agree with some of my changes are not. we all have different ideas so let's hear yous. here are some of my wish lists / predictions / balance suggestions or whatever you want to call them:


Shazam
- torpedo adjusted to -7 on block
- Meter Burn version for Bolt of Zeus now does 9% on hit and is unblockable
- trait works with super now

Hawkgirl
- Wing Evade 1 on hit causes generic b+3 wall bounce
- Random bug that causes a lot of recovery frames for Meter burn air mace toss when you land on the ground during WHIFF removed
- During trait active 1,2, and 3 attacks are now overheads
- Can enter flight mode after meter burn upward mace toss

Superman
- f+2 on block is now -20
- f+2 on whiff now has double the amount of recovery frames
- f+2,3 on block is now -20
- f+2,3 on whiff now has double the amount of recovery frames
- Armor on super removed
- Trait no longer gives damage boost (the damage boost is now 0.10% similar to MMH)

Batman
- No longer can combo off a grounded opponent that is hit by 1 robotic bat from trait
- No longer can combo off a grounded opponent that is hit by 2 robotic bats from trait
- Robotic bats still combo with each other
- A few couple of frames have been added to the gap within b2,3 string so that every character can forward dash or jump before the explosion sets off on block easier
- Last hit of 1,2,2 string changed to overhead

The Flash
- No longer bounces back on block after his b,f+2
- Uppercut is now changed to -6 on block

Killer Frost
- Invincibility frames on wake-up slide dramatically reduced
- Slide on block is now -5
- Slide has slightly more recovery on whiff

Green Arrow
- Hit advantage on electric arrows doubled
- Block advantage on electric arrows doubled
- The chip on fire arrows increased to 2%
- Can meter burn his slide on block now

Raven
- Hitbox on the projectile shot back from Meter Burn version of d,b+1 increased so it does not whiff on some crouching characters

Aquaman
- Trait cooldown doubled to 16 seconds
- Meter Burn trident rush chip reduced to 10% (down from 15%)
- d,b+2 on block now does 1% of chip
- Hitbox on d,b+2 slightly reduced

DoomsDay
- Hitbox on the second part of Meter Burn shoulder reduced
- Chop on block is now -5
- The second attack on Meter Burn version d,b+3 is now an overhead

Wonder Woman
- Hit advantage off d,f+1 (Lasso Grab) is now swapped with the Meter Burn version
- Hit advantage off Meter Burn d,f+1 is now swapped with the regular version

Scorpion
- Flip Kick is now -6 on block
- Leg Takedown is now a hard knockdown
- Air grab is now 1 frame of start-up in air
- The second part of 2,u+3 string overhead no longers whiffs on some characters crouching

Green Lantern
- b+1,2 now comes out on whiff
- b+1,3 now comes out on whiff
- b+1,3 is now -9 on block

Lobo
- What NRS just did

The Joker
- d,b+1 is now an overhead.
- Joker can now move once d,b+1 canister has reached half it's traveling distance.
- Joker can now move once d,b+2 canister has reached half of it's traveling distance.
- Trait is now 1 frame
- Joker can now meter burn his trait on a successful parry to give him 3 HA's.
- b,f+3 is now -6 on block.
- d+3 is now -6 on block.

Solomon Grundy
- Regular Grave rot no longer disappears when hit
- b+2 slightly less recovery on whiff

Lex Luthor
- Meter Burn version of mine is now a hard knockdown
- Probe no longer disappears when activating super
- Last hit of b+2,u+3,d+3 string is now an overhead
- Lance projectile now does 7% on hit
- Upward Lance projectile now does 8% on hit

Catwoman
- Meter Burn Cat Dash now has 2 hits of armor
- d,f+1 start up is now 15 frames
- d,b+1 start up is now 10 frames

Martian Manhunter
- Overhead teleport now plants the opponent on hit for 10% instead of launching

Zod
- Trait slashes reduced to doing 0.50% chip each on block
- Meter Burn laser glitch removed
- Overhead trait glitch removed
- Throw glitch removed

Deathstroke
- Machine Gun is now -12 on block
- Upward Machine Gun is now unclashable
- f+3 is now +1 on block
- Super has 3 hits of armor now
- Meter Burn version of d,b+3~DOWN is now +5 on block

Zatanna
- Meter Burn fire ball no longer whiffs on certain characters crouching
- Levitate infinite removed

Ares
- Trait Axe cooldown reduced by half
- Meter Burn version of god smack recovery frames heavily reduced on whiff
- Second hit of 2,2,3 string no longer whiffs on certain characters crouching

Sinestro
- The second hit of b+1,2 string is now a mid

Black Adam
- Backdash invincibility frames reduced from 11 to 8
- b+2,3 string is now -5 on block
- Trait orbs now do 3% each on hit
- Trait orbs now do 1% each on block
- d,f+2 hitbox slightly reduced
- Lightning Cage is now -10 on block

Bane
- Can now choose to throw the opponent in front of you or behind you after an air throw
- f+2 now causes a wall bounce on hit
- b,f+2 now does 10% on hit
- Damage taken during venom debuff is slightly reduced

Harley
- Tantrum stance 2 is now -4 on block
- Chance of getting dud after using d,b+2 removed

Cyborg
- You can now jump-cancel out of trait
- Can now combo off d,b+2 after hitting an airborne opponent
- When holding down d,d+3, pressing the meter burn button will cause an instant explosion around the targetted spot. Data for explosion is below:

- 10% on hit
- Hit level mid
- 2.5% chip
- Knocks them down in a plant fashion
- Hit advantage is +40
- Block advantage is -15
 

Relaxedstate

Cyborg being able to jump cancel out of trait would be amazing. I have been hoping for this for a while (and better/faster heal start-up). (Probably would need a trait cooldown nerf to go with this buff)

Missiles would be fine with just faster start-up speed. An enhanced MB version could make them unblockable rather than low or something like that. (obviously need a small window to enhnace early on, so you cant make them unblock-able last second...)

Anything with db2 would be neat

And standing 2 should be +2 on hit and -1 on block. Right now it it -2 on hit and -4 on block. 2xxSD isn't even a true combo string :X

Cyborg would be OP S+++ tier which I am always down for (Joker)

Some of your suggestions are good...and others... are ridiculous... lol You murder superman...

I am skeptical of you though being a 'new' member.

bias for which characters exactly?

So you wanna make f23 -20, yet everyone usually ends in f23 breath/trait? Lol.
yes. i think the superman player should be rewarded for hit / block confirming everything like a god :cool:

While you have some good ideas, most of these is just biased and stupid.

There's no need to destroy Supes and Adam. And giving GA a free get-in card? hell no. Too many characters have that already.

i actually thought i was being kind on superman and black adam. :eek: do you guys really think these nerfs would make them bottom tier?

You obviously seem to hate a lot of the current top tier. Completely destroying AM's and Bats's Trait. And then giving HG a wallbounce? GA a free get-in tool? BUFFING DD? Making Catdash EVEN MORE braindead? What is this?

You're clearly turning the Top Tier characters of this game into "current" Deathstroke. F23 -20 on block is a joke, even worst is trait that does insignificant damage increase.... It's SUPERMAN the most powerful character, if he doesn't hold back everyone dies at the first blow.

People need to stop with the Nerfing bullshit and instead look into buffing the horrible issues the lower tiers have.

when you take away the natural predator of a specie, that specie over populates and becomes a pest. Same concept applies to Nerfing the shit out of Top Tiers and buffing the Lower Tiers, it simply does not create balance.

To be fair he actually Nerfed the shit outta DD with those suggestions...Chop -5!!! hit box on the Shao Khan shoulder reduced!!

You do realize by creating such Nerfs characters like Bane, Deathstroke, Sinestro, GL and even Scorpion will rein havoc through out the games life.

hey, if you get hit by hawkgirl's wing evade 1, you deserve it. ;)

well i consider aquaman to have one of the best traits in the game. (him along with doomsday, bats, etc.) doomsday's trait has 16 seconds of cooldown. i think aquaman's trait could be argued to be even better than doomsday as it's a free combo breaker every 16 seconds. that's was my reasoning for giving it a cooldown similar to that of doomsday's.

batman i feel shouldn't be the same threat with 1 or 2 bats as it is for him having 3 bats. he can still combo off grounded opponents if he has 3 bats. it's just now he will have to pick and choose what he wants to go for. 1 or 2 bats for zoning / keep out / getting in / initiating offense. or he can save up for 3 bats and whiff punish into full combos.

i would hardly call that a buff for doomsday. it's not as crazy as you think. but i'm sure it would give the meter burn version a little more depth in creating some set-ups.

i feel green arrow kind of needs something to close the distance. i also feel the catwoman change to her cat dash is needed for some of her matches.

i honestly feel if you buffed everyone to superman / black adam calibur it wouldn't be a very enjoyable game.

why not, supes / ba players seems to be enjoying themselves.
things would be a little too auto pilot. imagine seeing joker and ares abuse the same two things over and over because it's just that good and why not? now apply that to all the other characters. it would be a funny game.

i mean, who am i kidding? it would be awesome if every character did 70% combos and had safe spammable launchers, plus more. but isn't that why everyone hates marvel? :confused:

osso you must be a pure Online player...cause you can't spam the same 2 moves with those characters Offline.

If it is happening to anyone than said person must learn to increase their reflexes and punish or interrupt 1 frame gaps

osso I feel like the Top Tiers of this game create a challenge, pushing everyone to perform the best they can and develop the game further as time passes. Nerfing them would kinda kill the game and the motivation to overcome and conquer.
