I'm not sure how many of you remember, or have been with TYM at the time, but on September 6th, 2012, the TYM server was brought back up after crashing on us late August of that same year.

When it was restored, all posts, threads, accounts and data after June 15th, 2012, was lost.
We kept on trucking, despite this inconvenience. Many thanks to STORMS' good friend, Seth, (aka admin) for bringing the site back! ♥

I just thought I should create this thread to reminisce the days after restoration....

"My account was a casualty of this occurrance. I joined on June 30th, and this event is why it says September 06, 2012."

I remember lurking, and after losing everything in never had assumed that lurking was a banable offense and I had gotten caught. Then I went on some debate site for a bit, came back, and started talking.

I lost about 50 posts and 100 likes, ruining my like to post ratio for eternity. I then took one good look at MKU and said never again, and just became an online warrior during that time.

That was when I picked up Baraka and my data was lost.. lol.

Fortunately, for me, it was only a smaller amount.

Everything I had done to improve the Kratos sub-forum was lost. It all reverted to when it was still a dead forum that had no one to tend to it.

Only a Baraka guide and a some data? That's nothing!
The Kratos forum became the graveyard it was before I arrived! #AppreciateYourFortune

doing all those :fp:fk:bp:bk:ex:x again were not fun, they dont save in microsoft word if you selecte them from the smilie menu, only if you wrote them with the proper characters they would :/

took hours...and look at all those pretty colours

also whats a kratos? :confused:

Yeah.. I know what you mean....

I skimped out on doing it for long threads. Though once you got it going you kould sometimes kopy-paste sections to make it easier/faster.

i didnt know what to do with myself when i got online during those few days. i kept leaving messages on the facebook page trying to get some answers like what i was going through mattered to anyone lol. good times, good times

Kratos is a raging slayer of gods who is overcome by guilt. He goes 5-5 with Kabal.

LGBT thread got lost.

My thread about dealing with Kung Lao using Reptile also got lost.

And I got banned for a week for posting a Bela Lugosi video before the downtime.

I also joined before the downtime and lost my account during the data loss.

I remember the downtime happened right before/during MLG Raleigh and killed some of the hype
