Yeah, not like GGA Slips has competed nationally and won many tournaments in both IGAU and Tekken.

Not everyone in our scene wants to pick superman. Even me, a long-time Cyrax (down)player, realizes that its not all about winning (when I want to win I'll go Black Adam, but he's boring to use), but can be more about the fun and being loyal to characters you love. I've picked up Wonder Woman, and she's a lot more challenging to use and making the game much more enjoyable than playing as Adam, while being a great character, as well. GGA 16 Bit, without question, loves Catwoman more than any other character in any fighting game ever made except Kitana in MK, so he is loyal to her instead of using his earlier top tier pick of Killer Frost.

And if you want to knock our scene for that, that's fine. I dare you to come out and challenge any of our top players, especially GGA Slips. The reason he can win with so many characters is his amazing fundamentals that brought him many tournament wins in Tekken. Hell, the guy will beat 80% of the players on this site with Scorpion in MK9.

This week's tournament was the mid tier one.
