Indeed he did. Thanks to him and John Tobias we have Mortal Kombat, the greatest fighting game of all time imo. And after Mr. Tobias left the former Midway after MK4, Ed Boon carried on the MK legacy (not all by himself, obviously, there is a whole MK team) and led the way in creating such great games as Deadly Alliance, Deception, MK9, and now Injustice: Gods Among Us. And yes, I skipped Armageddon and MK vs. DC Universe on purpose. The former was a really, really bad game and the latter was just a mediocre fighter, not really worthy of the MK name.

If it wasn't for Ed Boon, there would be no MK and Injustice for us to play and enjoy, there would be no MK community, and this website wouldn't exist, so give the guy the respect he deserves.

And how would have any of us survived through life? :eek: How did all those people before our time live thousands of years without the Messiah Ed Boon giving us such outstanding (debatable) games!? Oh, Holy Boon thank you so much for your contribution to society!

I just think there's bigger issues to really defend someone on. I don't honestly think anyone on here literally hates Ed Boon. I don't care either way, he's just another person, yeah, his little stunt made me angry. I wouldn't want to cast the man into the Lake of Fire for it though, and I don't like how people idolize others in such a fashion as you have...don't you know there are bigger things to live for? At the end of the day, I can honestly say I don't give video games a second thought, it's a pass time, I like to have fun. It scares me that there are people out there who are way too obsessed that they believe a video game creator has changed their lives (especially the creator of Mortal Kombat). But whatever, it doesn't really matter.

did somebody notice that Blue Beetle surpassed Dr. Fate in the poll? I mean it wab't just Red hood but also Dr. Fate the ones disadvantaged... And I still think Red hood will be in because there is no chance for Statick Dumb to be in even if he get 1rst place.
Edit: I see the NRS sockpuppet finally came :u.

I just think this is not right, the entire thing was just a business ploy to get fans interested, I just thought Netherrealm was better than this. This looks like a capcom thing to do lol

Actually is he right... your point of view is flawed and he is right in calling you off... UNofficial POLLS be them UN very FUCKING MUCH OFFICIAL or not doesnt mean crap and yes they should take this UNOFFICIAL polls seriously, cause its polls even UNOFFICIAL ones that provide NRS with numbers figures and quantities of ppl that request said character or said DLC.... this is about MONEY, not about how much of an underdog a character is or how much variaty a character would bring to the table... if they wanted variaty they should have done it in the initial roster not iin DLC... DLC is usualy meant to clear what fans want the most and didnt get to have in the retail version... so yes the pools matters a lot even if its unofficial, if you think they dont then you are probably the stupid and dumb one...

Unofficial for the ones that didn't get 1st place, but official to the one that did get 1st place.

NRS needs to stop BS and put in the 3rd and last place losers.

Even if before the poll was still open when it was said to be closed you mean to tell me Static flew pass Red Hood in a short amount of time to catch up to Zatanna lol

You can't tell me Static came from 16.8% to 17.78% and Swampthing and the rest went up like .2% to .4% higher lol yeah right!

what is there to prove, Zatanna made it into the game... the winner of the pool made it into the game this is prove enouth... if it was so unofficial then it would be just to see what chasracter ppl want and then none of those would make it into the game and NRS would take those results under advisement nothing else... DLC is a way for companies to provide
what in the retail version they couldnt for a multitude of reasons...be them lack of time, lack of production time, or even and this is the case with NRS and Injustice a lack of highly requested characters not present in the initial build of the game... open your eyes if you think this polls are so irrelevant

If Zatanna winning the poll is proof it wasn't unnofficial, why isn't Power Girl in the game? If DLC is "usually meant to clear what fans want most" why didn't they just do a poll for all 6 dlcs? If the internet is so Red Hood is so far and away the most popular character not in the game, why didn't they put him in the main cast or first round of dlc?

wow dude your so fixated in this thing that im ared Hood fan and this is all about red hood not being in this game that you cant even see how contradictory and naive you actually are...i really dont care anymore if red hood is in this game, i didnt even mention REd Hood a single time in this post and is NOT about red Hood stop trying to make it like it is... its pointless trying to talk sence into narrow sighted ppl...
