Boon reveals the results to his "unofficial" DLC poll and something isn't adding up

I said it earlier: if Static had 50 votes then gained 150 for 200 votes, and Red Hood had 100 votes then gained 50 votes for a total of 150votes, then Static would come ahead of Red Hood without Red Hood losing any votes.

Edit. Also it is percentages on the chart not numbers

I recall Boon tweeting early on that he liked Power Girl and wanted her to be in the game. Then the poll came and Power Girl was a clear favourite. Yet, still no Power Girl. I guess neither Boon, nor polls, nor Boon + polls have the final say.

It is also tough to blame Boon necessarily. The old days when Boon was the ultimate head honcho are over. NRS is owned by WB. If a WB executive tells them to change the poll, they are going to change the poll results. Welcome to Corporate America.

i...i know but....i dont see what that has to do.......heres what im saying
Boon showed this and said 1st and 2nd place (long after the polls were closed)

then today this

i suppose it could mean RH was in 2nd before the polls closed? but why show us misleading results? and tell us these were 1st and 2nd? again im sorry if my answer still doesnt respond to what you said.

Same thing could happen to Red Hood, if he ends up being a terrible character that is both hard to control and hard to play, doesn't matter how many fans in the world he has, no one would ever fucking touch him.

i have no problem with that what so ever. i can only speak for myself when i say no matter the execution il use red hood. the only thing that makes me more upset is that he changes the polls from what they were originally and then acts like we wont notice.

i dont think he ever said he wanted PG but he did a small poll that she won last october, also he wanted Scorpion and Scorp got in.
either way there were shenanigans with the poll and nrs has the final say they said WB gave them alot of room with he game and whatnot

When you look at the final poll compared to the last one, none of the numbers match, they are all slightly different than before, most likely because they were at different points in time. At the end Swamp Thing and Static both rose in the numbers. This isn't unusual. When voting on something, you're more likely to vote in a way where you can make a difference. If I were to look at the incomplete poll and vote, I'd have voted Static or Zatanna, even though who I would want in is Blue Beetle. I'd much rather my vote matter for me second choice, than be lost on my first choice.

Could be that they were still tallying everything up. Could be that they wanted to generate hype by biased tallying before releasing the final unbiased result. While I agree with ya that the data is poorly represented and misleading, thats more or less because of the type of chart used to represent the poll, not intentional malice

No lol, its an online thing. It should automatically tally each vote when they're submitted, no one has to count them.

This is the stupidest thread I have ever seen here on TYM. It's just a stupid poll, GTF over it. Fuck Red Hood and Static, they are garbage.

There is no need to call Boon a scumbag, ungrateful little pricks. Injustice is a great game and I'm happy with the DLC that has been delivered. We are getting two more characters and a slew of skins after the patch is released in early September. Just you wait.

short answer is the poll was tampered with, how? seems like the polls were re-opened so Zatanna could win, but all i can prove is that there are inconsistencies and the poll was definitely tampered with. my personal guess is it was fixed from the start, paulo even said on the Zatanna stream she was a character he always wanted. now im over there not being any more dlc and red hood not being in the game but rigging the poll is just low, what a scumbag thing to do. he even had the nerve to say this like we all wanted zatanna really badly

How dare you insult Ed Boon! He co-created one of the greatest games of all time and has continuously given us great games, such as MK9 and Injustice. He doesn't owe you anything. He can put whatever characters he wants in the game, poll or no poll. It's his game, well his and Netherealm's. You have no right to demand that he put anything in the game. If you don't like it, make your own game and put any characters you wish in it.

Mods, I demand that this person apologizes for publicly insulting Mr. Ed Boon and this thread be closed.
