For Lobo, WW's lasso is faster and controls more space than Lobo's chains. She has excellent air mobility(instant air cross ups); plus she has better reaching normals than Lobo. Good wake up options and good meterless damage. Also, her tiara goes farther than Lobo's shotgun...and is a combo starter:(.

I was delaying learning him because he's boring as shit but since I'm trying to learn the whole kast I have to learn him eventually.

How about I learn him and then we play the match ups you think are terribad? It gives me incentive to try him.

I'm only speaking from a Lobo POV, but he struggles greatly against Flash, BA, both Lanterns and HawkGirl. I say 3-7 for all these. Too imbalanced, man...

Lol..I don't play black adam, cyborg, hawk girl, or batman.

Pick him up if you want. Play the best of those characters, then we can talk. Until then respectfully stop talking :)

I've played almost 1000 matches with a Grundy player who mained him almost exclusively until recently. And he deosn't feel ANY of those particular MUs are that lop-sided...

I dunno, seems kind of ignorant to say that someone can't have an opinion on a MU because they don't play the one you say is losing so easily, yet you don't play the characters in that MU that apparently win so easily...

And saying someone HAS to pick up a character to understand how a MU goes is pretty stupid. I would never do well with a grappler personally, because I can't stand the play-style. It legitimately bores the hell out of me so I'd never be able to play him well. thus ALL MUs will look stupid lop-sided against him.

However, just my $0.02 on the subject. Take it how you will.

Your friend can play 10 thousand matches and it won't matter, it matters what he does at the competitive level against people who are legitimately good at the game and exceptional with their character.

Matchups are based on grinding against people at high levels of competive play with the best player of each character fighting against each other in long gruelling sessions.

I'm aware of this. And not to sound like an ass, but I also don't think anyone plays any character in this game well enough yet to say they're at the highest level of play...

Still a new game, and it's been patched a bunch of time already.

I'm not saying that Grundy is this amazing character with no bad MUs, but I havn't seen any reason to beleieve any of this MUs are worse than 2-8, and those being only 1 or 2 at the worst. Let alone 1-9 MUs

Hell, I don't even think Lobo's MUs are that bad and Grundy is significantly better.

But who knows, could be wrong. But lately all over TYM is a TON of downplaying on just about every character with the impending patch, so I'm honestly not gonna take much of anyone's word too seriously until it's out.

yes lobo definitly needs a buff flash and catwoman also have no projectiles but they can close the gap in the blink of any eye. second wtf does does lobos trait work on ONE shotgun shell when superman and green lantern's trait boost damge on ALL their attacks for like 8 seconds.
