khaotik was the best player who played kitana in my opinion but 16 bit had just as good of a kitana? make sense to anyone?

I'm... still wondering why we should be impressed or hyped that one guy used a high tier character to beat another guy that used a high tier character. I mean hey, props to them if they win the tourney and win money, good for them. But don't expect me to be impressed that they win with a high tier character. In the case of Injustice:

And this was more about Skill gap reference made towards MK community

This is also a props thread for khao cementing himself as #1 frost and knocking out the Evo champ

The way I look at it is that there are at least 13 characters That are tournament viable.

Black Adam
Aquaman
Superman
Zod
Killer Frost
Flash
Batman
Green Arrow (don't hate)
Wonder Woman
Doomsday
Martian Manhunter
Batgirl
Green Lantern


That was just ones listed off the top of my head. Hell, P2W finished 7th at Summerjam so there's 14. Give the game more time to develop and some more buffs and normalizations given out; you'll have 20 characters Tournament viable.


The best is yet to come.

I like how green arrow is in there when the only one ever to place with him is chris g while sinestro isnt.

I named the list off the top of my head and I even added P2W afterwards. Wound got second at a tournament within the games initial release, correct?

Yeah, so ChrisG is the only player to place with Green Arrow. He must be doing something right that the rest of the GA players need to learn from.

Point still stands. At least 14 characters viable to place or win at this point.

chris g wins because hes chris g, green arrow is top 15, if hes tournament viable then so are the 14 others

Exactly. ChrisG is the person who won, not the character. People should learn from him and stop making excuses why they can't win with "Top 15" characters.


Khaotic bodied KDZ not because he used a better character, but because he was the better player.


Excuses are cheap and the lazy way out. That's why people use them so frequently because they don't want to work for ANYTHING in life, not just video games.

OK guys, how many chris gs do we have in here?

i hope you see how flawed that logic is, when people like tom brady dont place at evo but chris g does against proven players using top tier chars then you can see how unique chris is

Green Arrow is a very good character, great mixups, huge resets, needs no meter for anything. Stop with this Green Arrow downplaying.

Chris G also used BA a lot (especially top 8) who I believe isn't top 15 at all.
With only GA, Chris G can't make top 8 against Supermen.

He only need his corner damage lowered.

People like you don't even learn the matchup and just parrot whatever people say after X character has won a tournament

Because I know everything, I will point you to www.dictionary.com to see that good does not equal to overpowered and that not overpowered does not equal to bad.

Superman didn't win EVO, KDZ did. When you have people willing to eat lasers all day from fullscreen and drop their combos for random 31 frame overheads on wakeup AND their opponent being unable to block it on reaction then you know somethings fishy.
