Exactly. It's a mind-game, not "pressure" like some define it.
The only thing I find a little ridiculous is the pushback from a blocked Meter-Burned laser, but that's it. I don't know, I just don't find his zoning lasers all that overwhelming. If you see him jump to do a laser, it's an easy jump to avoid it unless they do it as an instant-air...then it can become a little hard to interpret. On the ground, though, he can alternate between db3 (Heat Zap) and db1 (the laser we're talking about) and since the Heat Zap is faster and harder to jump, that's when the zoning can get tricky.
