Yea. I'm not the only one either. Bit is actually the KF player who taught me the MU and convinced me it was 5-5. I remember him saying he didn't think he was a problem at all for frost.


Ribbz thinks its actually in frost favor. I don't think she does that well lol.
6-4. Superman has to move in at full screen and can do nothing to Frost, and she can get to full screen easily. Superman having to find a way to approach Frost gives her a huge advantage. Proper use of parry leads to Superman players respecting her options on braindead F23 pressure and can force the use of low options which are all hella punishable. Any high recovering projectiles are blown up by Frost on a read since you will have forever to move in and d2 into a full combo and reset. Her tools are as good as anyone's against Superman. With that said, Superman is Superman so it is not like this is a walk in the park...I could see it being 5-5 for sure, but I definitely don't think it is in Superman's favor regardless. Maybe with the 1.05 nerfs 5-5 is a better number. I definitely think that with KF's insane damage up until that point she won the MU for sure.
 
An overused concept, if you ask me. We've had enough alternate universes, thank you very much.

The one in MK9, I can understand as it's supposed to be a reboot...Injustice, why? ;_; Be original, pls.
Lol because superman can only be destroyed by himself and we only gots one. I think the dialog was awesome but the plot was severely lacking lol

The best superman sent to losers and losing consistently since evo, but lets Nerf superman, right? Eye lasers 2 stronk. Corner dmg is v good and so is f23, once people learn to play against superman you'll all be shit on for screaming 'PATCH!'. People are just realizing how to beat him and 99% of people don't even grind the matchup vs top players. Good shit to khaotic.

superman number one, ppl dnt realize that just because ONE PERSON LOSES, doesn't mean that character just goes down on the tier list lmao. Also he isn't the only top superman................................. got theo, slayer, and others who will come out. Don't jump the gun yet.
 
SMH at superman not needing a minor nerf because someone wins vs him, that's like saying (well DJT beat reo, I guess kabal isn't as good as ppl say), smh.
If you were to nerf the man, what would you do with him? I'm honestly curious, because I can't think of anything that wouldn't ruin him in his current state. His damage off of breath mb maybe?

I wouldn't murder him, this is what i'd do. Make breath minus 6 and make f23 like -3. Now he can 't just constantly pressure you. That would be reasonable nerfs right?. I dnt want to kill him, just a reasonable nerf is all. (give breath old pushback with these as well).

pl isn't the best Lao, he's only won evo too. Ppl blamed supermans lasers all day as well, your own brother walked in on kdz almost twice per lifebar round at evo using GL and WALKING. F23 is very good but its all the character has other than corner dmg which must be fixed

lol, f23 is already - and giving breath old pushback is a Nerf in some matchups going 7 3 or just one in particular bei,g tht bad

vegas has shown that we know lao better than pretty much everyone because we have defeated PL and other top lao's more than once, and my bro only made a few mistakes. either way, his f23 breath needs some fixing, if you think not, then you are speaking nonsense lol. Can nerf AM and BA but not superman, smh.

It may be just me, but I've never panicked over f2 3 "pressure" from Superman. It's always easily evaded by a backdash unless he cancels immediately into Super Breath, which won't give him a combo unless you meter-burn it, and blocked Super Breaths don't seem to get Meter-Burned.

You see Superman cancel into trait, it's an easy d1. Link it into a launching special move if you're sure the d1 will hit. I don't think trait cancel off f2 3 gives him "safe" advantage, it's more like a mix-up.

The above strategy worked wonders for me against the Superman players I fought in my pool at EVO...although none of them were quite on the level of KDZ, to be honest.

EDIT: Also as Batman, I can interrupt with my six-frame jab. So can Scorpion and whoever else has a six or seven-frame jab.

f23 is just fine when he has sub par zoning and mixups while needing 1 bar per 45% like the rest. Only fix is dropping corner dmg to 55%.

nah, nerf f2 3. It should be used as a footsie tool more than a pressure tool (like GL, dnt see him doing b1 3 all day after it is blocked). Keep everthing else the same, a damage nerf would still put him at number 1. His zoning gives him a lot of meter, so it doesn't matter if he hits you with the lasers.

also, there's a difference between knowing the game and being good at it, I've seen many friends and many top players with such an imbalance, pl is still the best even if u know how to fight lao

Exactly. It's a mind-game, not "pressure" like some define it.

The only thing I find a little ridiculous is the pushback from a blocked Meter-Burned laser, but that's it. I don't know, I just don't find his zoning lasers all that overwhelming. If you see him jump to do a laser, it's an easy jump to avoid it unless they do it as an instant-air...then it can become a little hard to interpret. On the ground, though, he can alternate between db3 (Heat Zap) and db1 (the laser we're talking about) and since the Heat Zap is faster and harder to jump, that's when the zoning can get tricky.
