Looking for a second character.

I main Deathstroke, but I'm not huge on the zoning playstyle that is incorporated with him. Who do you guys think compliments his playstyle more, Batman or Superman?

Zoning is a part of Deathstroke's game. If your opponent kan't deal with his zoning, then keep using it. Play to win...

What changes the Deathstroke players is that some choose to focus more on zoning than others. So once the opponent is in mid range do you retreat and zone or meet them or let them kome to you?

As for kompliments to him. This game is quite simple. Choose top tier. So Batman or Supes will work out. Supes is easier than Bats though especially since Bats has a bad wake up game.

Yeah I usually zone with him until they get close, then I apply pressure usually ending a combo with sword flip to gain some spacing and then zone again. I just feel so cheap doing it, lol. Thanks for the reply though I think I'm gonna go with bats.

Yeah I just saw the rest of your post, I agree with you about bats. All he really has for wake up that is safe is mb block. I guess his slide is alright but it's definitely punishable.

That's a terrible suggestion. Play a character that appeals to you and that you have fun playing as. Tier whoring is for chumps. There are a lot of good characters (all 29 of them, IMO), you just gotta work a little harder with some.

I dabbled with Senestro for a little bit, but I broke up with him for Black Adam, lol. I've pretty much tried the whole cast and I seemed to like DS the most(not because of his abilities pre-nerf), the concept of Guns & Sword just appealed to me. Sort of like Dante & Deadpool in MVC3.

Some characters are obviously better than others. When two people of equal skill play, the characters and the time put into them is a huge factor in this game. And good players always put time into their characters.

Tier whoring is part of the game. Before this I was a character loyalist. (But before this, I played a game that had more versatility and spacing. My favorite character also happened to be upper mid tier without me knowing it.) If your favorite characters are good, then you kan be a character loyalist. If not, then it's better to start klimbing up the tiers..

This is only if you don't want to lose to players that you know you kan beat of kourse. Anyway, this is advice. The good thing about advice is that people kan use their judgement.

I liked him too surprisingly. I typically don't like zoning...

The bullets are probably what makes it so rewarding.

Also, online Deathstroke does get pretty cheap since it's harder to tell when the bullets ended and you kan dash. Offline he's more balanced. I actually picked him up after the nerf too.

batman got more style, i mained batman from demo, than cat but she is not so good, last mains were superman and batgirl, and now i took doomsday and he is fking awesome when u play it very aggresively and use trait always to rush and it's the only one character for me that i dont really feel a bad match up, even deathstrokes online spammers and hawkrigrls suck now, they just can't stop my doomsday pressure, so try to play it , and there are no many people use him

Harley was my first. I thought she was good too until I looked at everyone elses frame data. I remember wondering how SatsuiYesHadou was beating me with Supes F23 and I kept trying to wiff punish with B1~tantrum. All these koncepts I karried over from MK were koming in to this game only to realize that they didn't work and that Harley wasn't a rushdown character.

Arrow has been my favorite ever since I picked him up though. He will always be my favorite main.

Yeah I was thinking about maining harley until i looked at her fd. I like green arrow as well but sometimes I get punished trying to switch arrows. I'm sure it would have become easier with time though..those shock arrows are really good for juggles.

Started with Superman, then played with Doomsday, then Raven, and now Grundy and Bane.

I like playing with all of them, but Bane and Grundy have been a welcome relief...It's just too bad that online players always pick someone to zone with once they see my pick.

Yeah I think about that, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Usually because it makes my opponent pick a powerful character anyways since they assume I just picked Superman haha.
