Cool, I seen some gameplay on youtube. You get to play as Batman or Robin yet?
Yeah after every match they take the 6 characters who were playing the elite gang members, and two people are chosen at random to be batman, or robin! I've played as both it's really fun to stalk everyone else as a third party. Basically you try and fill the bat emblem up with intimidation points by getting kills on the goons, and if you die you lose points. I prefer Robin just a bit more then Batman because his shield kicks ass online. They also have a bunch of alt costumes for everyone too. Maybe there will be a Jason Todd Robin alt in the full game! It's great though I hope they add in Deathstroke and Deadshot teams because its fun to be Bane and Joker online too!
So far they are getting everybody that voiced a character in the DCAU, so if Ackles does Red Hood it would be so sick to hear him again.
That sounds so cool, I can't wait!! I hope they add more multiplayer matches too, I also love Jokers and Banes looks in this game. Deathstroke could be a problem in this game you know with his arsenal.
Yeah I love their looks too! Bane was too jacked in the other Arkham games for my taste but he's perfect in this one. Joker is really cool in this one too. Yeah Deathstroke is going to be crazy I know he'll have some pre-order challenges too, so maybe he'll be in the multiplayer too! He will probably be an awesome boss fight for sure!
As much as I love Red Hood, you can't diss Shiyera. Hawkgirl is my 2nd main and my best character and she was awesome in the justice league animated series. So I'm happy the she made the cut.
Well, it does give them more female characters by doing that, and NRS ddi want to put in more obscure characters too. I actually think Killer Frost wasn't a bad choice at all. I just had NO idea who she was (although apparently she was featured in Young Justice).
Well even her design is boring, she just doesn't strike me as interesting in her looks or personality...she's just an ice-version of Poison Ivy to me. But she's not even the one whom I thought shouldn't have been in to begin with. Solomon Grundy should have been replaced (and this is for the story's sake too) with Bizarro.
Different strokes for different folks my friend. I'd find Bizarro to be even more uninteresting. Grundy had a decent fab following after his appearances in JL and JLU.
Suppose you're right....I haven't heard of his fan following before and I"m pretty active in the comic community, I never heard of Grundy until Arkham City...but, must have been hanging out in different circles...
eh Grundy was an obscure or lesser known, he wasnt necessary and i never agreed with his inclusion but i guess a grappler like him adds some nice diversity to the game so it was never a big deal he's just Zangief to me.
Oh really? I mean he's not a wildly popular character but he was in like 12 episodes of JL and JLU, he was in Batman: The Long Halloween, etc. So he's known, and by mainstream audiences, not just comic circles. Just because of the show and Arkham City. So I think the fact that people knew who he was (at least more than a lot of characters) had a lot to do with it.
I suppose you're right, I only recently got into DC Comics anyways (2011) when the New 52 started. That probably has a lot to do with my ignorance now that I think about it. I may have seen his name here or there and just never thought about it.

Oh ok that totally makes sense. The only place in the New 52 that he's shown up in has been Earth 2, I believe.
