Online Complains/Rants About Etiquette, Players, Netcode, Desyncs etc!!

So many frauds on Injustice. I bodied some guy with VxG_EMP in his name and destroyed his Supes. If I would have taken a photo I would have posted it :(

No wonder people call this game Injustass: Frauds Among Us

The problem is that the online stability is so inconsistant that you can get completely randomed by players of much lower skill based on internet connectivity. I'd like to get better and level up but unfortunately, none of my friends play Injustice, and I am from Vancouver, BC Canada, almost 28 years old, and both can't find a local tournament scene and feel uncomfortable showing up to a scene filled with 16 year olds. So, I am stuck right now playing only online, so I have to use only what works, which seems to be J2ing people to death.

I only decline if you have less than four bars. At 3 bars i feel the lag in combos and I cant crouch and walk forward 1 without getting a special i didnt ask for.

Nice ring. I have a mace.
i get this problem allllll the time. no one wants to fight a trueskill 35, with over 4000 matches under his belt.

people are cowards. i just usually go play koth when i have this problem.

Purse first, ass last.
I'm probably gonna decline if:

- you have 2 bars or less

- you play a runaway superman or black adam, especially when I'm using a far weaker character who is worse both up close and afar. Chasing the best characters with joker and lobo is extremely sleep inducing

- you always wait for me to select a character so you can counter pick

However, even if you use superman and black adam I'll at least play you once just to see if I can do anything, and I won't decline you if you have an insane record.

I'm not afraid to say that I periodically decline people. As a very new player to both Injustice and fighting games in general, I'm still learning the ropes. As such, I will decline someone with an insanely high win count. This is very rare, mind you - I do believe that you learn by playing better players. However, there is a point where the skill gap is so high that the worse player (i.e: myself) doesn't learn anything and just gets discouraged. Mind you, I only decline maybe one out of a hundred games at most, so it's not a chronic thing.

Geez why would you decline ppl with less then 3 bars? I play ppl from US on my FL alot and the games are playable with only 1 bar. Those bars are not accurate at all anyway cause ive had plenty of bad games vs ppl with 4 bars.

It is annoying but I like to look at it from both sides. Most of the time (not all the time) people with good records play like ass holes. It's especially annoying when it's in player matches and people just try hard too much. A lot of people know this so what's the point in accepting if you already know you aren't gonna have any fun.

On the other hand, not everyone is a scrub online, there are people like me that bought this game just for fun. Not like those lousy try hards that will use the cheapest tactics to win in a player match. I'm not saying its wrong but it is annoying.

Yeah people are really weird. That's why I try to find players on TYM or Reddit (lol) to play against, people who actually wanna level up and play well. Also that way you don't get scrubs who you faceroll and learn nothing from.

People that wait for you to choose your character are just the biggest cowards though. And then when you decide to hide your cursor, they quit.

What is up with that??? Just pick who you wanna use.

I usually never decline unless their record is so bad that you know it would be a waste of time to play them. (ie. 4-36 like records).

When they do accept, I usually play about 5 games or more but will stop when they keep picking the same stage over and over again, start to get laggy, get really annoying on the mic, or when I want to play my alts and just want to practice combos online (which doesn't help when playing really really good players.)

Things I really don't care about is records because sometimes you fight scrubby players with good records and good players with scrubby records.

Basically, if anyone on TYM want to play an average player or practice with alts. Add me on either system XBL/PSN: GTInfection

Hidden cursor.

I write too much.
Weird. I have a sub-par record (amount of matches wise) since I rarely play online but roughly a 60-70% win rate, yet when I enter rooms I get like 4-6 invites immediately. I'm not a pro or anything, so it always catches me off guard.

That being said, I can only accept one at a time, so what may seem like a person declining could just be them playing someone else?

Of course, if you're doing player matches that's a moot point. I always accept those but others don't always do the same.

Has nothing to do with being a coward, bud. People play games to have fun and to the large majority of them being put in a match where they're just going to get smashed to pieces is not fun for them. Do you think people want to be punching bags for vastly superior opponents? Get real.

A New Angel Is Advent

Every random I've played has been fraudulent. I sometimes start thinking I'm good if I play too much online. Then I play actual people and am quickly reminded that I'm not. Either way if anyone has an east coast connection on psn feel free to add anewangelsadvent. I prefer playing to people who are fundamentally better than myself. I only dodge if the connection is bad.

It gets to a point where i cant even play the game. With a sub-par record of 1418-857 its impossible, I used to play all the time but now the decliners make me not want to play and have to wait 5 mins for a match. And when they do accept and you beat them, they leave. Its so bad that 2 out 5 people will press accept. There are two types of decliners and i am sure you will agree. 1) They see your record and automatically decline without hesitation. 2) The players who pretend not to be there and make you wait until you decline or you take to long to decline, and then you meet up with them again and they notice and decline instantly.
I could not agree more with this post! How am I supposed to obtain the best online record and be recognized as the best injustice player in the world if ppl won't let me build my online wins and true skill ranking?!?

This guy has a point, sometimes it's just no fun playing people with high records because most of them all play the same scrubby way.
