Oh, they'll put in whomever the fuck they damn well please. That's just the way it goes. I just like trying to discourage people here from so gleefully setting the bar so damn low for the second wave that's supposed to be about fan requests.

There's more backlash now because people are whinier now. There's more outlets, there's more opportunity, and gamers seem to think that just because devs are open to "feedback" they wanna hear every little bitch and moan every fan has about everything ever. Thankfully, it still hasn't affected sales #s or NRS' ability to make smash hit popular games.

In short, haters gonna hate, whiners gonna whine, but at the end of the day only one party in this equation knows how to make a hit video games.

With the addition of Zatanna for the 6th dlc character, there will probably be 2 more to go.
If scorpian gets moved over to the villain side, that means 1 more hero, and 1 more villain can be announced.
I was wondering how people feel about PowerGirl becoming DLC, because as far as i could find, there wasn't a forum devoted to just talking about her.
While looking around at other forums, it seems that as a community, we're pretty divided on this subject. It seems like maybe 60% against PG, and maybe 40% for her.

But here's my argument:

1. PG wouldn't just be a Superman clone because:
No character in this game can even be considered a clone of another. and: she would differ in fighting style from supes and zod, because she doesn't have heat vision. EDIT: She might have heat vision actually. It probably depends on the writer. (brought up by "Gurimmjaw")

2. Personality and looks:
*Lets just get this out of the way - Yes she has a large pair.* But that's NOT how i see her. I happen to like her original costume design in general (even though she has a boob window.) And personality-wise, PG usually punches first, asks questions later, which is hilariously awesome.

3. Gameplay:
I think it'd be really cool if she was a "fast grappler" type of character. Kind of like shazam, but with more punches/less magic lighting. Maybe throw in some chains like grundy.

4. Trait:
I'll be honest, i cant think of what her trait would be. That's where i'll leave it to you guys.
EDIT: "Koor" brings up an excellent idea. "Kryptonian prowess": while she fights, she gets stacks, that once activated, makes her specials stronger or have bigger range. Seems like the perfect fit for her personality. Berserker mode. Love the idea!

Starfire could be really cool, but i don't think she has a chance. She's never been rumored or hinted at, and they already have three members from teen titans in the roster. raven, nightwing, cyborg.

I would main her so fast it wouldnt even be funny. Shes by far my favorite female hero (and probably favorite in general) and not JUST because of her having a large chest. I mean really, there arent many women in comics that arent packin so to only put PG in that boat is silly. She has alot of personality to go with that bust. Shes strong, independent, highly intelligent, the list goes on for days but because she barely gets much of a showing outside of comics, not many people know what shes REALLY about.

Gameplay wise, yeah, i think she'd make for a nice grappler/brawler type of fighter. While she has all the abilities of Supes/Zod, NRS can definitely tweak her usage of them to make it unique to her. As far as her trait it could be something like the more she fights her trait builds stacks of 'Kryptonian Prowess" or something. At any level you can activate it to slightly increase the damage/range of your specials. Just an example but with how many abilities she has, theres plenty to work with.

I would love to see them add in Starfire and Beast Boy to round out the Titans. But I agree that I don't think that they have a chance realistically. Although it would be really easy for them to make unique movesets for both.

Personally I don't think Power Girl would be a good addition. I really don't feel like we need another Kryptonian. She really would be just a female Superman. And while they could give her a unique moveset like grappling or something, it doesn't feel like it would be enough to distinguish her as her own character.

yeah when you put it that way, adding her does seem a bit silly. But i still agree with Koor. NRS could make her really unique compared to the other kryptonians.

Unfortunately in the current lore for PG, she doesnt have heat vision.

Im reading on her page of her powers it does list her having heat vision though. Are you absolutely sure about this?
