[REQUEST] Red Hood for DLC

None of the DLC characters have gotten costumes. Don't expect anything. Seriously though, I would play the shit out of Red Hood if he was in this game.

Red Hood is more than just "another bat character". And in all honesty, I think it's by far the most ignorant argument that could be made for why he shouldn't be in the game. Hell, I'll even take "But Swamp Thing is a better character than Red Hood" which is totally personal opinion over "another bat character is pointless". especially since while yes, Allan Moore is a damn good writer, I also think he's highly overrated by some people. But then when I take a look at DC comics as a whole, the writing for characters and plot is really terrible most of the time. And where does most of the good writing go? Mostly to Batman, and characters who derive from the Batman history and story. And then the rest seem to work for Image, which just so happens to be owned by DC.

That's just my little rant, but in all honesty, I'd like to see a legitimate argument over why Red Hood shouldn't be in the game and not just "no one wants another bat character". I don't think anyone wants to see another mid-tier grapler character either, but mad heads want Swamp Thing (we all know that's how he'll go down), and no one wants to see Superman all over again, yet Power Girl is still a pretty popular choice.

Respect your opinion. Reasons I want Red Hood goes by a long list, but I'm not gonna bore you with that. He's personally my favorite Robin, so to get him in would mean so much to me. Him being a Bat Character? I really don't care I'm just tryna play with my fav like many people here.

Plus you have to start an Orgin from somewhere. Red Hood wants nothing to do with the Bat family. He's the only Robin to break away from Bats and start doing his own thing(not stuck in batmans shadow).. until writers drags him back to the Bat members for an arc.

is not about not wanting more bat characters, is just that I would like NRS to give the chance to lesser known characters that are just as cool if not cooler. He's also well known with his use of guns mixed with CQC. Which while similar to DS, they go about it much differently because Jason WAS, yes, trained by Batman.

Where as Hal Jordan (being my most hated Green Lantern) and John Stewart are different, they do really only do exactly the same thing except what they choose to make for their constructs. There was no real good way that I could see exactly another "Green Lantern" outside of another skin. They could have fought differently. But I can honestly say, Green Lantern and Green Lantern being on the same character select screen is WAY more of an eye-sore than having Nightwing, Batgirl, Batman, and Red Hood on the same screen.

Thank you! I'm also tired of the whole "He'll just be another Deathstroke!" argument too. Look at Deathstroke and look at Red Hood, they do not resemble each other at all. Deathstroke has all sorts of weapons and gadgets like a walking military armory, Red Hood is much more subtle, and, imo, if he's put in the game, he wouldn't (shouldn't) be as heavy as Deathstroke feels. Red Hood is nimble, agile, and quick and needs to use more of his League of Assassins skills more than anything. But I'm so glad you said what you said, your rant made me happy. lol

Nah still doesnt mix well with his fighting style... originally i think this could also be a good set up... Specials:
a flipkick like NW but instead of the hitbox being his Foot it would be him fliping over the opponent shoting guns ( he actually does this quite often in the comics)
one Gun ranged Special, but just one and posibly like a leaping forward or backwards shotting ...

then he should use a combination of his Rhas Knife and Hand 2 Hand in his normals to look cool, and specials that move into combos could be his All blades..

theres some more interesting things like throwing grenades like Harley does but slighly diferent but ths so far is the coolest ( for me ) i could think of

I said before his trait should be his dual pistols instead of a special move.
