It's entirely possible.

Zatanna means the "leaked" 2'nd DLC list was likely a crock of doodoo.
MMH was more or less a guarantee.
So that leaves the last two spots that could go to just about anyone.

It's like the part in Willy Wonka when they found out the 5'th golden ticket was a fake.
Now, all things are possible.

I say give us Fate. Dude looks like a fucking monster.
My choice is irrelevant. Unless we ever get the TDK Joker/TDKR Bane suits I've been bitching about for a year now, there's only one realistic person/costume left I could possibly want...



Dude's already got like 15 suits. What's one more?

It would make sense, just look at the character select screen. They're gonna add one full row to each side, if they add any more it'll almost completely hide the character models in the background. I'm sure they'll add 2 more villains to complete both extra vertical rows.

you don't think scorpion will be moved to villain side? his wins count for villains.

The only people released that are unquestionably hero or villain are MMH, Zatanna and Batgirl as heroes, and Zod as a villain. The other two are wishy-washy.

If you play an "Villains Only" Battle, Scorpion and Lobo show up, but not in the Heroes Only one. They're villains and Scorpion will move. Which makes sense. By MK's standards he can be seen as somewhat of an anti-hero/neutral, I suppose, but by DC's standards there's no way he wouldn't be considered a villain.

I want Canary as the last hero, but hey, I wouldn't kick or scream over Fate or even Swamp Thing at this point. I just want Black Manta as the last villain.

I guess they just wanted the first pack to have 2 villains and 2 heroes instead of having 3 villains and 1 hero so they put Scorpion on the hero side.

Yeah, I think that's just who they wanted to release, and for balance/room's sake, they kept him over there. They might move him when Zatanna comes in, he might still stay there til everything gets sorted out. But Lobo first appeared on the villains side until Batgirl came out, so they've shifted sides before.

So if that's true, we'll have one more hero and one more villain, obviously. Sucks a spot was wasted on Scorps to begin with, but oh well. I'd be ok with Red Hood too, since so many want him.

Yeah Scorpion was a dumb choice, especially now that they nerfed him to oblivion hes even more pointless lol. I wouldn't mind Red Hood, but I would much rather have Swamp Thing. Swamp Thing is just much more exciting all around.

s: black manta, gorilla grodd, mirror master, dr. fate
a: atrocitus, black canary.
b: red hood, zoom.
c: powergirl, supergirl.
d: mr. freeze, poison ivy.
fuck them: starfire, sub zero.

Scorpion was a hero for like, half a game and all that history has been retconned. I'm not sure where this anti-hero notion came from. Just because fate takes a dump on you doesn't qualify you as a hero. That's like calling Kazuya or Heihachi or Ganon a hero because once upon a time they got a raw deal. Vengeance and moral ambivilence aren't heroic.

The only "good" things Scorpion ever did was spare Sub Zero (II) when he realized he had the wrong guy, a principle he went back on 1 game later cause someone eviler told him to. Here's his history;

MK:M - Goal: Treasure Hunting / Vengeance, Result: Got owned. THREE TIMES.
MK1 - Goal: Vengeance, Result: Killed a Guy so bad he turned into a demon.
MK2 - Goal: Vengeance, Result: Almost killed the wrong guy.
MK3 - Goal: FOUGHT FOR FUCKING SHAO KAHN, Result: Spared the same guy as before
MK4 - Goal: Kill the guy he just spared, Result: Almost killed the wrong guy, dragged another guy to hell
MK5 - Goal: Drag that guy back to hell,Result: Got Owned
MK6 - Goal: Be the god's bitch, which includes killing the wrong guy, Result: Got Owned
MK7 - Goal: FOUGHT ALONGSIDE SEVERAL BAD GUYS, INCLUDING MANY HE HAD ALREADY BETRAYED OR BEEN BETRAYED BY, Result: Got Owned
MK/DC - Goal: FOUGHT ALONGSIDE ALL HIS SWORN ENEMIES CAUSE THEY TOLD HIM TO, Result: Got Owned
MK9 - Goal: Do what he's told, Result: Passed up many opportunities to do the right thing, killed a guy so bad he turned into a demon, then fought alongside said demon.

The only positive light Scorpion has ever been painted is was the Legacy series and a couple non-canon endings, which basically say, well, before he became a murdering angry hellspawn, he was actually a nice guy, well sorta, cause he was also a hard edged ninja, but he loved his wife. But everything since then has been all YOU WILL BURN.

Hmm, this is very interesting, some of the context helps as well, notice they were taking about the excitement about playing a new character but didn't like the tiger-knee inputs of Zod, then he said 'That's why I hated playing Fate, cause it was a tiger-knee input into a tiger-knee" so Fate is not referring to an actual human player he was going up against, like I thought originally. So, who knows, exciting.

EDIT: Also, what's up with them saying "yo" all the time. lol
