He is playable. I think if you preorder it, you get Deathstroke missions. It's also multiplayer too.

During the Identity Crisis arc Deathstroke also took on the JLA by himself. I particularly enjoyed how he handled flash. Found a youtube video of it. Pardon the lame music.
