General/Other Why Do You Play as Hawkgirl?

I want to try her, I've played 1 or 2 really good HGs and she seems fun. she plays like I'd imagine THOR might, minus the electricityand whatnot.

She takes time to understand, but she is so fun to use. Just understand that her trait is not to always be relied on.

I picked her up originally as a counter pick for certain matchups but was kind of dreading it.

As time goes on though im seriously loving her style more and more.

And pulling off combos with her is more satisfying than any other character.

She's the kind of character you need a secondary with. Alone she has way too many matchups that are uphill.

I just love that she can avoid projectile users with ease. Someone starts shooting projectiles, all she has to do is a ji4.If they try to shoot her down, all you need is to press 4 & you're as good as gold.

correction after almost one year: she actually gets pretty much bopped by the meta (cept poor flash)

still the coolest character in the game and the most fun character I've ever used in any fighting game
