does injustices damage scaling harm the hype factor?

This is so random and stupid.

What killed the hype was everyone on TYM complaining about stupid shit while KDZ buckled down and actually learned the game. Stop complaining - the fact that no one could remotely challenge KDZ is the community's fault, not the game's.
How the fuck do you know how much time anyone put into this game? Do you have an intimate relationship with all 700 plus who were competing at evo? You are really ignorant if you believe 1 person out of hundreds took the time to learn their character.

This "level up" bull shit is getting old. Supermans frame data doesnt lie. Nobody is implying he has block infinites and inescapable resets everywhere but he is clearly heads above everyone else using the simplest of tactics.

Only tar tars say this. Blocking low against lasers and anything means you have to stop moving to respect these options unless a crouch-walk is introduced. It's counter-intuitive.

Please stop.
How is blocking a slide low counter-intuitive

Look at the damn forums. Everyone including ostensibly top players have been constantly complaining. It's a mindset that doesn't win. KDZ's mindset does.

And if you think he won just because he picked Superman, you're either: (1) flat-out wrong; or (2) being stupid/not playing to win by not picking superman if you honestly think that.

There's no pleasing this scrubby community. Invariably someone will lose, and that person will just blame some random element the game rather than themselves. I honestly don't know why NRS even bothers to try to serve their interests.

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
I dont really understand your point. What is low skill damage, getting hit by a laser from supes?

But anyway, i played alot of hype matches and seen many hype matches. So im not really complaining.
MB B3 transitions, Unblockable cars, and of course the normal F23 stuff. Not a lot of technical skill involved in the rewards you get for those. Really simple to do stuff.

I don't really have any problem with transitions, they do like 30% damage raw and less scaled.

Sure its easy, but you get more damage for doing an actual corner combo, and you get to keep the corner for pressure, well a B3 resets everyone's position to neutral.

The only time to ever actually use a transition is if you are a gadget character on rooftops, or if you want to deny someone a clash.

What kills the hype(and game in general) seriously is a tremendous lack of even basic skill. Plenty of other fighter games I've played or watched, have their characters having to in the end, after zoning, face one another and while some may have unblockables, those take some time to charge, and while some have command grabs, at least you could actually tech out of those. Here you have these scrubby interactables that only someone relying on a crutch would say it's no big deal. The only other game I've seen where "items" were used would be SSB, and guess what, you could actually block those, or do a side step to avoid it on reaction, plus you had to be direction specific if you wanted it to hit. Here, you can use meter to make it even more safe than what it already is, it tracks without you even having to work for it, it's unblockable which is an obvious flaw, and it does stupid damage. Transitions as well. I could care less if transitions existed as merely that, a stage transition, but here it does free damage for you. Too much free shit in this game you don't have to work for is depressing. I can guarantee you, if you would permanently remove transitions and interactables, and actually had a "hand-to-hand" fight once more, you'd find the game very different, along with not having to worry about crap being chucked at you and you can't do anything about it in almost every single set up. Sure, you can turn it off, but seems like all players, even top players like using crutches to win

Damage outputs, specials and combos are including in this obviously. Characters that already dish out high combos like Aquaman, shouldn't have specials doing +25%. Like seriously, are you all really that braindead? Have you really lost any sense of dignity and skill this is what you resort to? Of course this is one example, but hey, it's one of many and many of you support them anyways. As well as f23? "Oh it's the player, he played smart, blah blah", gtfo out of your bubble and come to realization its stupid. The range of it, the speed of it, and the mix up after, how much more braindead do you want to be? It's not even like its a difficult input to begin with and you get all that, on top the character's tremendous damage output, and let's be real here, the combos aren't even hard to do whatsoever for that damage. These extremely basic bnb's including characters I use, need to be cut in damage because they do way too much for how simple they are. In this game there are basically 2 routes in combos. One that's optimizing damage through different inputs and specials and in several cases specific timing, and one that's universally too simple that gives you roughly 5% AT MOST, less than that optimized combo. Just all this free stuff is what kills the game. There's hardly any work that needs to be done anymore, the skill/reward factor is tremendously off balanced

To be fair, all interactibles can be back dashed if you're SKILLED enough. Tyrant's Grundy basically showed that everyone needs to level up.

UH no, I actually do very well in that MU, it's just stupid how much damage that special does on top of his damage output already. But I appreciate your ignorance:D

Good luck doing that in the OTG set ups. So I take it you along with those supporting your comment are the ones that have no issue with the skill-less factor of this game. Good to know. Using back dashing on reaction to support "leveling up" is just so flawed in so many ways

The salt is strong with this one. Seriously, adding skill-less into your comment just makes you seem like an upset child.

If you get knocked down next to interactible, arguably you deserve that damage.

How is using backdashes on reaction not leveling up? Utilizing back dashes is the key to get around most of the "skill-less bullshit" that you and many others have complained about.

Yeah and ares has unblockable set ups, he flys at you in furious anger with his 2 fists aiming at your face and you can't even block it, and u only have to do down down two...that makes ares s tier right? please man
