Why do they keep giving the dlc characters abusable teleports that completely control the match just by the fact that they exist? 3 of the 5 do. This teleport is Just as stupid as scorpions was

I cant believe no one but myself figured this out yet but the overhead teleport is not safe guys all you gotta do is block it as a crossup and he land right infront of you this move has no crossup up properties so weather you and blockin back or forward it will block it better to block foward so there is no push back on the move and he lands right beside you

Actually im the guy who came up with the tech and told Reo on youtube. You did not watch the video properly, yes its not safe if done wrong but if timed right and block he ends up in front of the opponent and cannot be punished.

I spent like two hours with this setup and found the perfect timing where after a back 1 3 you jump back right away and when the opponents shoulders hits the ground and the legs are 80degrees from the ground you do an air teleport overhead which is safe if done right. Reo forgot to say it can be done anywhere on screen and as long as a combo ends with back 1 3 the setup works which gives manhunter safe 50/50. I think it should be nerfed because the cross up is impossible to see and if you delay it where the opponents back hits the floor it hits in the front which is also safe. Not to mention if the teleport hits you get a combo which leads to the same 50/50 setup

You did the setup wrong but i know what youre talking about though. While testing i found out if you time the teleport weird it can be blocked either way but it only happend once with me but how reo set it up was correct where the crossup overhead teleport is safe and can only be blocked like a crossup. The timing is very weird at first but I got it where I can get the crossup and be safe.

I played a few onlinies last night, it's getting abused a lot from what i can see, so a match ends up with you waiting around till they do it and in the meantime, zoning them out. Sort of disappointing to fight against but it's nothing like scorpion was - initially. Frankly those sort of players just get bodied.

I actually think the MB Pillar (which tracks even if you're jumping) followed by teleport into combo is a lot safer for MMH and makes you as the opponent as lot more worried about jumping etc.

I don't think it matters if it's instant or not...i'll go check it out.

Well you could have a character with a B3 that doesn't reach or a F3 that advances forward so that it whiffs against him...like Ares...there are other ways to fight the Downward Phase Assault...i'm certain of that.

idk about freddy other than he's a zoner, but MMH doesn't really seem like a zoner in the traditional sense. more about screen control and setups rather than constant projectile chucking.
