I was desperately looking for such a thread, to print it because it's not easy to remember what's left to do in our progression when playing, and so uncomfortable to go back to the menus everytime...
About the ???, I had discovered the icon for the asylum's pig by myself, but this thread allowed me to know about other ones like the shark or the Riddler's ones (that I still haven't since I don't want to hack my console's date)

The first ?????, just before Riddler's Hat seems to be the head of Superman's statue, as we can see on this video, unfortunately it isn't shown what is the "mission" to get it.
The one just after Riddler's Hat is the Shark, that I got by performing online Aquaman's super-move once a day for a week, like indicated by a member somewhere in the thread. Got it last week, you can officially add it!

The 8 backgrounds between the Star Labs 200 stars and the KOTH wins are Daily Challenges of New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Easter, April Fool, St Patrick, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas. The one between Daily Challenge 25 and Rainbow Girls is for completing them all.
Same thing for the icons (the 8 between Star Labs missions and KOTH wins, and the one between Aquaman's Super Move Week and Rainbow Girls) and photos (the 8 between Star Labs 3 stars and KOTH wins, and the one between Random Challenge 100 and Rainbow Girls).
So by now we know how to unlock every item, first post can be edited!
And most of us can sob knowing we'll never get the craziest ones^^

What are the background images for each of these?

The easy one to get of the leaderboard is from survivor, not many players, play that game mode
the other three need more time also you need to have a very good W/L to get to the top.

If you guys want pictures, I can record the ones I have in HD and screen shot them. It would probably take a while, but it can be done. I have also been Rank 1 in everything on PSN at some point, so I can get a picture of each Rank 1 Icons also. I did not read the entire thread, so I am not sure if this has already been done or not.

The only thing I can think of is to use a designated throw button ( I use stick so I use 2 buttons for throws like SF) and only press that button...

That's what I've been doing I did nothing but L1 on PS3 but still didn't get it....

Weird... Maybe it's a bug? I'd contact WB Games Support and/or PS3 Support...

Make sure you don't use trait either. I did it with Bane the first time and I used venom so the throws would do more damage and it didn't unlock. Did it again without using trait and I got it.

I wish there was something for winning with a character 1,000 times... that would be pretty cool. Doesnt take long to get 100 wins with someone.

I wish the DLC characters had hero card content cause hardly any of the hero card content we have looks good, and if it does it doesn't match with anything else. Trivial though IDK

You need to be nearby or Top in the global ranking to unlock
Gold Regime Icon: Ranked matches
Silver Regime Icon: Player matches
Copper Regime Icon: King of the Hill
Iron Regime Icon: Survivor

Only in the top.
If you wanna get those regime Icons, you must have a W/L ration like 10/1 you cant lose a match, if you lose or habe a bad W/L is gonna be hard, but no impossible to reach the top.

I found this icon, when I asked how he got it, he said "I fucked ur mom". He was level 100, so he probably hacked. Any idea how to legitimately get this icon?
