he has a shitload of great tools but terrible walkspeed and only negative frame strings. i think this is a strong, but still well designed character.

Yeah while I was using him, he felt the most complete of all the a characters. I think they really tried to design a well balanced character here. Is NRS beginning to learn something now...

Maybe I'm just not getting the joke.

"98% of the cast" means 98% of the characters in the game. Doesn't matter how many that is. Unless you mean that 98% of another number isn't a whole number unless it reaches 50, in which case nobody is reading that far into it lol.

I cant believe no one but myself figured this out yet but the overhead teleport is not safe guys all you gotta do is block it as a crossup and he land right infront of you this move has no crossup up properties so weather you and blockin back or forward it will block it better to block foward so there is no push back on the move and he lands right beside you

In with the new comes having to also find new ways to beat out of punish moves or combos. In this short video, Tom Brady showcases a few tips on how to beat Martian Mahunter's teleport as well as some very important information regarding his combo strings with and without the use of his trait.

Tom of course showcases these opportunities with Aquaman, but it's just an example of the punishment potential.

I think regular teleport might be faster than instant air teleport honestly. Off of a meter burned ground heat anywhere on screen you can combo into teleport without jumping first and if they block the ground burst you can make the teleport safe by holding down

Even though I'm having a bit of trouble using him, this is what I was hoping with DLC characters. Huge improvement over the rest of the lot.

There's almost no reason to use any of his phase moves raw.

Even as an anti air zoning tool...doesnt EX-Pillar work better anyway?
