That is tough. If he doesnt have trait activated you could always go for the MB B3, but if he does have trait activated your best bet is probably push block and either backdash if you want to keep him out or dash in for pressure of your own. That is the universal way to handle it now, but I believe it is going to be normalized eventually.
Batman's J2 is my nightmare and biggest problem in this game. As soon as I see the animation start, I freeze-up.
Well obviously you have to block it standing. And since it can easily cross you up sometimes you just have to guess whether it will or not. Sometimes the best thing is to just backdash when you see it and make it whiff. Can be easier said then done, but possible with time. If blocked he has to block a d1 from you or whatever your fast attack is.

Well first you need to realize that all pillars lead to a free dash. So make sure to do that once she starts throwing those out. Teleport can be punished by any move under 19 frames(Wasnt f21 one of flashes good punishers?) All the air teleports can be D2'd. This is of course unless she does it while making you whiff something, in which case you might have to know how bad your move is on whiff. Her grab is pretty tricky, just realize it has a 6 frame startup and will get you if she catches you trying to dash in. If you block it though you again get a free dash.
I had a 30-odd games with a friend online earlier and I felt that way. Stupid things like Superman Heat Zap hitting me while crouch blocking. He saw it happen, so I know I'm not crazy.

I play Zod.
I really dont know the first thing about Zod. The only thing I can think is to MB B3 if he doesnt have trait and pushblock if he does. That seems like the only counter to F23 breath for some characters, unfortunately
