Not saying either is better than the other, just like organizing by character. By the way, I replaced Arturo with you, since he'll most likely be recording the match for #MAXCPM. aaaaAAAaaa

I know the purpose of this thread is to create hype, which is cool, but the useless debate in the other thread made me think just how silly the EC vs WC debate for Injustice is. In MK9, it made sense because most of the top New York guys trained together (VSM), so them being the best actually meant something, because they were helping each other level up, so there is a justified sense of accomplishment. Nowadays, saying something like "EC is dominating" means absolute shit (whether true or not), because it's just a matter of geographical coincidence. It's not like REO, KDZ and Chris G spend time together leveling each other up. They just happen to be from that region. So what would they brag about exactly? In what way does say, Chris G winning a tournament validate REO or someone else on the East Coast? It's not like they're a team training together.

I would love to play reo, he doesnt go to any locals though, i don't wanna hear about a bitch commute because I came 3 or 4 times from fucking jersey even though I work thursday mornings. Also I think you lose credibility when you pick scorpion to make it to top 8 at CEO, then not pick him, and then make up excuses on twitter about how you hate the game and only participated because your travel expenses were paid for, at least in my book.

45 mins or so for me and i work the next day too. also had 3 hours of sleep the night before yesterday. Jesus christ :(

also i agree with brady on that if we're going to be travelling all the way into middleofnowhere brooklyn the least they could do is buy speakers for their setups. Seriously, there is zero sound and this is supposed to be like the 'premiere east coast weekly injustice stream'

3 of those guys in that list made top8 at evo the biggest major in the FGC. Execpt for tyrant who won wnf last week and is looking really strong as of lately, and aris who is probably the best DS. I don't see your point

We need an invitational event for this.

If you want my opinion. What makes the West so good is that we have rivalries between ourselves down here.

Assuming I go forward and organize an invitational what regional divisions would you like to see? east/west or something along the lines of the regional forums here pacific north/south nw atlantic etc...?

East vs. West is so cliche. I like the country wide 5 v 5 idea. Organize it somewhat like Curleh Mustache at Final Round. http://shoryuken.com/2013/02/25/curleh-mustache-battle-royal-a-special-ultimate-marvel-vs-capcom-3-regional-5v5-tournament-at-final-round-16/

Have each major region pick 5 of their best players and rotate 2/3 games per person so everybody gets to play everybody.

I think thats definately a possibility. The dojosports idea is to create leagues of teams similiar to sports started with the northwest and expanding to other regions starting in august and the third season will add in more area's too. 5v5 format for the teams with up to 10 players 5 as potential sub's. Could make it into the all star game of the league of sorts and have various regions vote on their best players.
