Timed Traits (Doomsday, Superman, Bane ect.)

I am mostly complaining, but using timed traits specifically Doomsday's to get an advantage. After K.O.ing the opponent for the first time your trait is still active, while the characters do their reset for round 2. It's really annoying watching his trait tick away and end when I could use it in round 2.
 
For most characters the cooldown is not bad, but DD's is a while and those few extra sec of trait would be great. Friends play Gundy and his trait is perfect against it.

You could try to develop a gameplan around it. Figure out how to lame out your opponent before the cooldown is back. Or try not using your trait to close out a round, yeah sometimes it's necessary (I play Shazam so my main damage comes from a CD trait), but it's only a cooldown, like it could be worse.
 
DD's trait was over nerfed at launched. From 6 sec duration/10 sec cooldown down to 5/15.

Ideally the ratio should be changed to something like 5/12. This seems to be the consensus that most DD players have.

As it stands, knowing when to trait with DD is one of the most important skills for a DD player, and anyone who thinks it doesn't take effort just doesn't know the character. (for e.g., because of the end of the round scenario you mentioned, I find that it's normally better to save trait when the opponent has less than 10% on the first bar).

Pls make it happen NRS. Nerf Doomsday by giving him Bane's "lousy" trait =)

You forgot the part where you do no damage and take a shit ton more on that cool down. Also forgot the part where everyone can still MB b3/f3 your shit in. I didn't say Bane's trait was bad, but if you think it's better than Doomsday's, relative to the character, then you don't really know what you're talking about. There is little/no trait management with Doomsday because he's a good character without it already and there are NO NEGATIVES to using it. Such is the case with every other character barring Deathstroke and Harley, who, like Doomsday, aren't dependent on trait to even remotely be a threat.

I say take away the between-round Trait drain completely.

For everybody.

Characters affected by the Trait Drain:
Everyone on the roster except Nightwing, Wonder Woman, Ares, Batgirl, Catwoman, Green Arrow, and Grundy.
And maybe Lobo. Not quite sure how his Trait works.

That's a lot of characters who would do well to avoid such a stupid circumstance.

This is rubbish. Doomsday needs his trait to put the risk/reward ratio in his favour in certain situations. Getting it wrong and having to wait 15 seconds is a huge drawback. Based on your logic, all DD players should just activate trait at the start of the match, since its so free. The fact that they don 't says a lot.

Furthermore, the 1 second activation animation puts a huge cost on him in the situations where he would like the trait on the most.

Anyway your argument is confused as hell. You're not sure whether you're crying because Bane is a lousy character, trait notwithstanding, or whether you want to cry because someone had the temerity to suggest that Bane has something going for him.

This mechanic helps ares out quite nicely. It also helps out a bane in the sense where right after a kill, you have a second or two of peace without getting blown up by cyrax like combos from everyone in the game.

My argument is that Doomsday's trait is a supplement to a good character and Bane's trait is a necessity to a character that has little else.

Why the hell should we all lose valuable Trait time over time constrictions we can't control?
Why should I take a round due to having my Trait keep me standing just to lose all of it waiting for Life Bar #2?
Why should an Adam lose his Orbs, or a Lex lose his armor, just because we took a round or got stuck in a Clash?

It makes no sense.

Yes, and probably not.

Trait or DD CAN be lived without, but not against a GL/Batman/Raven/etc., whose entire plan is to get you airborne.
For Bane, not so much. Venom is his lifeblood, and it ain't right that he's gotta gamble it away for his hype ass end of round victory tactics and start Round 2 debuffed and damageless.

Well, I don't mind the round end quite so much because the debuff ticks down during that time so for Bane it's a double edged sword. But I can see why people would want it changed and wouldn't mind it at all.
