Chief Thunder to be revealed at GamesCom/PAX, next character will also be teased and more

At the San Diego comic-con Ken Lobb, who has been working on the Killer Instinct franchise ever since the original game, sat down for an interview concerning many things to come including new characters. Ken states that the team's marketing strategy will consist of revealing Chief Thunder at GamesCom (8/21-8/25) and/or PAX (8/30-9/2). From these events, not only will Chief Thunder be revealed but they will also be revealing their next character by teasing just like as EVO.

Below are few other notes taken from the interview including the unique functions of the XBOX ONE.

• Sabrewulf meant to be the "beginners" character
• Pricing strategy will announced at GamesCom

Everything I read about this game is happy, also I saw the video where Max sat down with the developers and re-match options are rapid, so is character select and stage loading I think. Also if the facial recognition system really will eliminate button checks then this + the gameplay + metagame could be very interesting as a tournament fighter.

Was literally about to ask when Thunder will be revealed. I don't plan on getting an Xbox One. But I do want to follow this game and see where it goes. I heard the combo system is surprisingly simple. Any truth to that?
