At the southern-most point of the state of Texas, the Houston locals are gathering their forces to prepare for an Injustice tournament at the Insomnia Video Game Culture store! During their previous event, their ranks rose to around forty players, but for tonight...their brackets now cap at 32. If you are planning to attend, please be sure to call ahead and reserve your position.
The stream will be provided by Kombat Houston's Cat at www.twitch.tv/kombathouston and will be expected to go on air tonight at around 7:30 P.M. Central Time. If you are not following their channel at this time, be sure you do so in order to be notified of their broadcast.
Also, follow www.twitter.com/kombathouston to stay in touch with all bracket information as it comes.
For those planning to attend, be mindful of the following:
1) The console in use will be the Playstation 3.
2) All matches will be done in a 2/3 format, barring all bracket matches for the top eight which will be conducted in a 3/5 format. Double elimination applies.
3) The fee is $10, $5 each for the entry fee and the venue fee. Players will be offered free pizza and drinks from the Pizza Zone to add to the fun of the event. If the turnout should exceed at least twenty participants, an additional dollar will be added to the pot from each of the venue fees.
4) The prize will be split in a 70%/20%/10% format for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, respectively.
All downloadable content will be available for use by the Injustice participants, EXCEPT for General Zod.
