i cant believe how many people hate on superman like his zoning is op!!!!
i honestly wish djt didnt pick gl, there was no way for him to deal with it.
superman's zoning is mediocre at best. i find it fun and challenging to get past . if you don't want that challenge shut up and pick up bat girl, only a moron would throw out lazers on her. boom problem solved.

Zoning is boring and takes less skill than rushdown (in most cases) but it still takes skill. There's a lot of reads and spacing involved, not "spamming".

It was so dumb I could not take it as a insult. Another really funny one is when someone asked me if I knew any other combos on Aquaman because all his combos look the same.

I Remember this one time i boxed my friend who was really tall and had long arms. As soon as the fight started i took one little step and i wasnt paying attention to the positioning of his feet and he leaned in and cracked me nasty. bam i was down just like that. i got up and did a lil better the next time around. The problem is people complain about lazers and f23 but dont realize that in real fighting there is safe tools that hit from afar and are hard to deal with but you must because if you dont... well you know what happens. f23 and lazers are just like my friends long jab, it gives him a significant advantage and he was born with it, i cant ask god for a nerf. Adapt or die, only the strong survive!!!

against an enemy with superior power you must maneuver him into weakness.
people need to read the art of war, seriously....

Btw in a real fight a powerful jab can lay you out easily and then you're getting stomped, with no wakeups..... no wager.... so maybe people should realize how important every slight movement truly is in a matchup..... that's the point im making.

It wasn't the Low Shots that made it bearable, it was the old iA Shot landing.
Before, if you got it low to the ground enough, he actually had to think for more than a moment about whether or not to follow up with a punish or block to avoid being baited. It was at least a useful enough tactic to make a difference.

Aris made it so far as to eliminate CD Jr with Deathstroke; and Aris hasn't practiced since the buffs to wake up attacks.

My friend, I assure you, Deathstroke is a viable and competent character. They key is to remember he has a sword where his guns would be unsafe.

I'm constantly saying that Superman has too many effective tools to deal with any style of play, and I definitely think they should slightly tone down at least one of them.... But those comments are ridiculous.

Saying Superman should play total rushdown against DOOMSDAY and not try to keep him at range is basically asking KDZ to purposely throw the game. I'm guessing many of the commentators don't play the game, and hence assume just because it is Superman that his rushdown game is 100 times stronger than his zoning game- it's not.

True, but his main argument is that Deathstroke is tournament-viable. Supes is a pretty difficult matchup for many characters- but doesn't mean those characters aren't tournament-viable.

I agree, it is disconcerting to see so many multiples of Supes.

But a question, out of curiosity; how far into a major does a character need to get to be considered "tournament viable"? Only top 8? Or maybe top 10, 16, 25? And what if one of those Supermans in the top 8 lost at one point to a low tier character- should it be assumed that low tier could possibly make it to the top 8 as well?

I don't think Injustice has awesome game balance, but I think it is much better than it appears to these IGN commentators.

First of all, CD Jr. played horrendously. Second of all, Superman beats Deathstroke.

Slips lost to AK Harold's Flash, I believe. I cannot blame him for losing a 7:3 match though.

Nobody has done anything with Deathstroke at CEO or Evolution. This character is laughably overrated.

People found Batman vs Aquaman incredibly hype, but fast forward to when the real top characters were found, and the game turned stale and "unhype". It's Superman, Black Adam, and Killer Frost ruining this game from a spectator's view.

lol, I got "combo spammer" a few times but over my entire MK9 career, I had a total of maybe 150 online games and they were all before I joined vsm.

I was lucky enough to have a room mate to play with and be part of what was at the time the best offline scene in the country.
