Author, have been trying to get something workable written for the last 3-4 years now, but... not giving up yet!
Awesome! I try to write stuff too but I lack in imagination. If you want to share anything I'd love to read some of your stuff!

Are you sure? You might not feel funny but other people will find you hilarious. If you want to be a stand up comedian you need to write material for the stage, not everything is gonna work. You need to keep at it and keep writing and you'll eventually get something golden for sure.
If you ever write anything and want someone to read it I'd love to.

What I do is I try to carry a notebook everywhere I go (phone works fine too) and every time I see something I might want to use in a script for a film or see something cool I might want to recreate for a shot later I write it down. I have like 15 pages of little few sentence long ideas for screenplays or shots. Most of them I'll never use but I'm sure there's some that I'll implement into stuff later. You might want to start doing this too, every time you see or come up with something funny write it down.

When I try to write stuff for my short films I'm really limited, I can't go on to write stuff like you can (future, superheroes) since I write for the screen, meaning it will be specifically written to be a visual presentation and I don't have the budget or skill (yet) to make those kind of films. I need to write around stuff I already have access to.
