Exclusive Glacius Killer Instinct Gameplay footage from EVO 2013

I am here at EVO 2013 and one of my promises was to get some Glacius game-play for everyone to check out. Well, here it is. This was recorded from Double Helix Games play stations by likely "random" players. Towards the end of the video is a Glacius vs Glacius mirror match where you can see more of Glacius' specials. Many old school Killer Instinct fans will definitely recognize his moves and although I personally forget what the moves were called... this game looks amazing in person.

Wish they left his face alone. I don't mind the redesign, but the model they showed in the original trailer looked waaaaay more badass. Makes me worry what they'll do to Fulgore. Oh well, as long TJ Combo is in, I'm down.

I'd like to see cinder too, and If I recall correctly, he turns blue as his alt color? Not sure but I think I remember him having an alternate color on the SNES.

It's kinda funny to see these fools trying to rushdown with Glacius when he's obviously supposed to control space, counter and whiff punish. Dude has Dhalsim limbs except he can hit confirm off them into a full combo. (1:08)

He looks pretty darn great to me. I love what they're doing and can't wait for the game. I'm getting too fed up with online people on Injustice only knowing two special moves and zoning. This game will not have the same problem. I intend to co-main Glacius, but use him as rushdown mostly and zone only when I need to get people using super-rushdown characters against me.

I think he looks pretty damn cool. Very alien, which he is. People want everything to always look the same most likely for nostalgic reasons or they are fucking internet hipsters trying to sound cool by hating on shit. Either way im looking forward to see what they do with fulgore.

I'm calling it right now, Glacius is top tier if not overpowered LOL.

1. He has Dhalsim limbs that lead into combos.
2. He has long range frame traps that look safe on block.
3. He has a special that can make his unsafe moves safe on block and build meter.
4. He has a 27f unblockable move that leads into combos.
5. He has great AAs.
6. His Instinct mode is basically DOOMSDAY'S trait. Yes, he gains super armor so he can transform into a tank and go rushdown as well lol.

Glacius = Dhalsim with special/chain cancellable limbs, super armor and decent rushdown.

I can't wait for this game I'm so hyped right now for this. I would like to see Capcom do something similar with Darkstalkers but it's Capcom so w/e.

After getting passed the whole "Nothing like the original character design" phase, the game looks pretty hype. I doubt I'll get this on day 1 tho cause I can't afford a Xbox One and ps4 at the same time. :(

Edit: Lol I just noticed you can hear Kung Lao in the background.

yep, his updated look seems cool .... much more alien look-alike , and , his gameplay looks interesting .... let's see if others chars looks cool too ..... until now , Glacius, Jago and Sabrewulf have decent appearance ..... could be better ? hell yeah !! .... but could be worse, and so, what we get so far, seems ok .... I'm very curious to see the updated versions for Orchid and Riptor, I guess they will no disapoint as well

Yea, on paper glacius seems like one of the least fair character designs ever lmao.

His ice snipers are ridiculous because it looks like he can throw them at multiple angles and he's so fucking big his limbs occupy like 50% of the screen

I'm actually pretty impressed with this game. Seriously, Glacius is FG character straight out of the 90's, the updated him, and he looks (and plays) fuggin' awesomely. Can't wait to see Sunday's demonstration.
