LOL I played the hell out of this game on Genesis. GuamoKun took all the stuff I was gonna post. I really have too many I want to put up here, but in no particular order:

KoF XIII (though 98UM-xi were all amazing)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (I'll money match anyone who doesn't think this is a competitive fighter)
Mortal Kombat 9 (but UMK3 will always have a spot in my heart)

Millions of runners up, 3rd strike, SC2-4, T3, CvS2, GGX2, BB:CS, G:MotW, LB2, etc etc all fall in the "hell yeah I'm hype to play this" realm.
