What's a Smarrgasm?
This past friday Atlanta held its first major gathering of players for MKX! Though multiple competitors were unable to attend 13 of Atlanta's best kombatants went at it for a chance to win the first tournament for the newest chapter of the Mortal Kombat Franchise. Side note- Juggs, who turned out for a local for the first time in a while was stuck playing story mode by himself for almost 2 hours just to unlock shinnok (RT if you cried)
After some incredibly close matches and some saltyness, the top three was finalized with Xenomorph and Reayon in Winner's Finals and HomeLee waiting in loser's. After an incredibly close set in winner's finals ending up 3-2 Xenomorph would advance to the grand finale using the main girl herself Cassie Cage.
Reayon would go to loser's to face Homelee and his fierce Takeda. HomeLee would close it out against Reayon's brutal Kotal Kahn.
In the Grand Finals HomeLee would quickly reset the bracket with a 3-0 filled with a fury of mixups that overwhelmed Xeno. After the reset, Xeno would adjust and take the first game after the reset only to be rallied upon by HomeLee for another 3 games to close it out.
