Winter Brawl X MKX Pools

MKX Pools are out, and while aren't 100% final, these are a good idea what they'll be going into tomorrow's action. This info was taken from HERE, and now you can check each pool as well. They should be the same as listed below, so if you see any differences, tag Tim Static so he can edit them. Also, there still might be changes with people registering at the door.

"I'm entering it for fun".... sounds like a lame way of saying "I know I am going to loose but hey.. I didn't actually try, even though I made a thread a few weeks back going on how I was 'recommitting' to the game with the intent of becoming better." .... lame.

If you go back and read my thread, you will realize that I said "Return of the King" will be around Combo Breaker time, NOT around Winter Brawl time. The main reason I'm not taking this tournament seriously is I hurt my wrist playing Melee, I had to go the doctor for physical therapy and everything. So I haven't really played MKX at all in weeks, I played the Beta like 1 or 2 times maybe. I'm guessing (or hoping/praying) my wrist will be healed by Combo Breaker time, that's why I specifically said in that other thread that my rise will be around Combo Breaker.

Plus every single time I enter a tournament I'm 100% try-hard picking my mains and counterpicking (besides locals and pools at majors/reigonals) so I thought it would be cool for me to go into Winter Brawl and Final Round with the intent of having fun, not necessarily trying my hardest win. Since I'm not going to be in tip top shape anyways :)

The blade of osh-tekk is stale.
Kotal is the obvious answer... so do it. I wanna see a strong Kotal repping him in a major, it's been awhile. It would be great if at some point you used all 3 variations. But if Kotal is getting wrecked in a certain matchup and you have to switch, go w bojutsu. He's a cool character too.
Looking at this strictly from a viewing perspective, good luck all the same.

Doubtful. I know SFV is the big thing right now but there are a lot of issues with it. Plus, not all of the big names will always make it out to a tourney for various reasons.

To be honest, there is a 90% chance that I will be using nothing but Kotal Khan at WinterBrawl, all 3 variations. I made the poll just see what peoples responses were, but I'm almost deadset on just using Kotal all the way :D

Are you speaking for yourself or other people? Not EVERYONE is playing it. There are server issues mainly and lots of complaints over things not working. I don't have the game yet but going off of people I know that do play. It's just not stable.

Everyone involved in teh SF4 scene is.. all the pros and all the fgc personalities. It has even greater penetration that SFIV as many of the gamers who came to late for SFIV and chose other games (like some notable MK players for example) have taken it up. There might be some complainie pants and other people that are making assumptions with out even playing one the most awesome fighting games in the world.. but you should know they are in the minority.

heh... what would be the rules for random select... would you need to random each game? 'Casue you are technically not picking a character... and the choice of "random" must be kept for each game if you win same as the choice of "character" has to be.... hehe
