Brady is a Sub Specialist. Madzin also plays Blood God Kotal but has overrall done better then Tom. However, since Tom only uses Subby, and focuses on him only, I give this one to Tom. Although, Madzin is an amazing Sub as well.

So we're not discussing tournament standing or caliber of player here, it's simply who is the best Sub-Zero, right? It's Brady, hands down. From contribution to the community all the way to character and match-up knowledge. Madzin is clearly skilled, but he's a transient Sub. But Tom is the Grandmaster.

Lets see that ft5 mirror at the next major. No variation restrictions.

Brady is the brains, but thus far Madzin has to be voted as the brawn.

I remember post-Predator when many including myself were genuinely worried whether or not Sub would be of any grand use in the long term of this game, in spite of Brady's constant flow of knowledge, until Madzin breathed life back into him and saved the Lin Kuei.

However, I cannot fucking wait what Lord Brady does in 2016.

Fair enough, but I honestly felt you were getting caught by a lot of YOLO moments and from what I remember, might have to watch again, a lot of unsafe clone setups went unpunished.

F0xy got outplayed BIG time in that match, and tilted into throwing out unsafe shit like naked teleports. To say "every Tempest in the world would get mopped by his GM" based on that seems a bit egotistical. It's a losing match up for Sub , as is Sub v Quan, foxy needs to just bite the bullet and admit Madzin was on his A game that day and simply had the best showing of all three players - by no small margin either

What does knowledge do if you dont play the game? Practice mode isnt really practice.... I dont play too formulaic, I dont play at all. Now that I have REO back I am playing all the time.

I've always admitted to getting slapped about that day, pretty sure I even said something like that in an interview moments after.
It's an even match IMO, a classic of cat and mouse.

Madzins Sub is amazing no shame in losing to that. Was cool when you used Hat a Trick as well

Based on the things that make Lao amazing, his insane damage and his great footsies are just as strong in this match up as ever, B22 has nice reach against Clone attempts, and he punishes things like whiff slides probably easier than anyone else in the game. Meanwhile on the other hand, Sub is doing 20-30% midscreen max and even when he gets his corner game going hes barely matching Lao's midscreen damage, and Cyclone doesn't get armour broken by any option Sub has, pressure is just incomparable, Sub just loses in every aspect and the things that make Sub a good character are less applicable against Lao than they are against other characters, and Tempest is already probably the best character in the game and this just further throws out the balance of the match up, and on the flipside of the coin Lao's teleport has more application here than almost any other match up, its definitely slanted against Sub here even though its no way near as bad as DVorah
