TYM/MKU MvC2 PS3 Tournament

Let me see... we have had MK tournys, SF tournies, Tekken tournies..... but I have yet to see a MvC2 tourny. I think its about time we have one!! I know a few of us have been playin lately to get ready for the Monstrous MvC3 release on Feb 15th. So lets take it a step further......

MKU/TYM MvC2 PS3 Double Elimination Tournament!!

since the game is fast paced all series will be first to 10, with finals being first to 15.

now im not sure of MvC2 official rules, so unless someone can find them for me:

NO characters banned
all infinites are legal
Loser can change teams while winner picks first



Solo, can u help me with the brackets once we get enough people? I would like a nice even amount of people so no one gets a bye.

and the winner will have a choice of an MKU/TYM premium membership or a 20 psn card paid for by me :D

so lets get goin people, who wants in???


Edit- I want this to conclude the weekend before MvC3 drops, so we need to get this goin ASAP!! people that dont make an effort to get their matches in will be DQ'd!! i dont want this to drag.

with Roge, we have 8. 16 would be awesome but i doubt we will reach it. as soon as the brackets get done, we can get this moving.....

OK.... i have some major updates. There was also a major change to the brackets, it is now a DOUBLE ELIMINATION tourny. Roge withdrew for personal reasons and was replaced by Rissing.

the tourny kicked off with a bang and here are the results so far


1st round
(1-0) Detroit defeats (0-1) S1lent 10-0
(1-0) Rissing defeats (0-1) TWZTID 10-5
(1-0) Slickback defeats (0-1) chef no score given
(1-0) Aure defeats (0-1) solo 10-0
