TOASTY BONUS!

So who knows how to do the Toasty Bonus? I thought it was some kind of myth... until last night...

Playing as Kratos I uppercutted the opponent then quickly did the bow and arrow special move. As I was doing the bow special move Dan Forden popped up and I got a toasty bonus. I wen't from little-to-no X-ray bar, to full-blown X-ray. I haven't tried to recreate it yet...

Does anyone know what the button presses are?!?!

I think he's talking about when it actually says "TOASTY BOOST" and you get full meter.

99% sure you have to get another hit in the combo while Dan Forden is on screen to get the toasty boost.
So while your opponent was in the air from the uppercut, Dan popped up on screen, and at least one of the arrows hit while he was still up.

No, I read that somewhere as well. I did not press any of those four buttons.

yea, figures why i never got it haha. i guess it is landing a combo after an uppercut when he pops up
