No they won't. Someone will try to run a tournament with them turned off and everyone will cry that that's not how they've been learning the game. They will be enabled/disabled as the community sees fit once we actually play the game

How do you feel about those corner escapes? I mean as a sub main I would imagine it would be incredibly annoying to work someone to the corner and put up a clone then have them easily get back to mid screen. You know, that's actually a valid point. However, the advantage may prove to be negligible. After all, they're blockable and honestly, most are just vaulting off of something or a moderate damage straight projectile.

Haha Yeah, I've thought about that for sure. If the meta ends up being close to MK9, it's going to suck, no doubt. But so far, it's hard to say if clones are going to be a valid form of lockdown in MKX (especially since projectiles destroy them). Regardless, there's 2 other variations to explore, so corner clone lockdown may not be as vital this time around. How do you feel about those corner escapes? Weird, I thought ppl were getting posts deleted that weren't on topic...oh my bad it's dave being a troll. Lol oh he's at it again! Of course of you had said this and weren't a person of note it would have been deleted. But carry on!Two heavy zoners in Mortal Kombat X? Like who? The ones that only exist in a rush down player's imagination?
There is a run button, several anti-zoning variations, about half a million teleports, and armor, and fools are still concerned about zoning with interactable objects.
the true reason why we should talk about banning stage interaction has nothing to do with how broken or not they are. it is all about how they break the balance between player 1 and player 2 at the beginning of a fight.
yea i realize that is not so simple people saying that we should wait and see how it plays is actually a valid point for my argument as well since we don't know how many situations will be in which one player gets a posion advantage over the other yetWeird, I thought ppl were getting posts deleted that weren't on topic...oh my bad it's dave being a troll. If only...If only there was other games that had stages that offered different ways to interact with in like a wall or a ring out or an infinite stage. And if only this game had stages that aren't symmetrical and maybe some characters are better with a particular stage interaction. If only this game existed we could see how that games community handled things and how it worked out for the tourney scene.
soul calibur and VF players must be laughing their ass off at these topics. even if they start off in neutral stages certain characters just had the stage advantage period such as Nightmares back throw. replace that with teleports and replace insta-death with blanche and that's how it'll play outIf only there was other games that had stages that offered different ways to interact with in like a wall or a ring out or an infinite stage.
